Ise Sushi Review: A Hidden Gem for Fresh and Flavorful Japanese Cuisine
If you’re looking for high-quality sushi in a cozy yet refined setting, Ise Sushi is a spot worth visiting. From beautifully plated sashimi to melt-in-your-mouth nigiri, this restaurant delivers an exceptional Japanese dining experience.
Sashimi Platter - 5/5 ⭐️
The sashimi platter was a standout, featuring a selection of fresh fish like tuna, salmon, and yellowtail, elegantly arranged and topped with delicate garnishes such as black caviar, microgreens, and tobiko. The fish was incredibly fresh, with just the right balance of fattiness and texture, complemented by a light soy-based sauce that added umami without overpowering the natural flavors.
Tuna Nigiri - 5/5 ⭐️
The tuna nigiri was simple but executed to perfection. The fish was vibrant in color, with a silky texture that paired seamlessly with the well-seasoned sushi rice. Each piece was consistent in size and quality, making every bite as satisfying as the last.
Baked Mussels - 4.5/5 ⭐️
The baked mussels were a pleasant surprise, served warm with a rich, slightly creamy sauce and a topping of finely chopped green onions and tobiko. The slight char on the mussels added a smoky depth to the dish, making them a great appetizer or side dish.
Overall Verdict
Ise Sushi impresses with its fresh seafood, meticulous presentation, and well-balanced flavors. Whether you’re a sashimi lover or a nigiri purist, this restaurant delivers on quality. The ambiance is welcoming, and the service is attentive, ensuring a great dining experience. If you’re in the area and craving sushi, this spot should be on your list.

Read moreIf I could leave a 0 star review I would. After paying a split bill with my friend, the waiter stopped us from leaving for not leaving a tip or a "good enough" tip. For 10 minutes we were held up at the door while the rude waiter harassed and lectured us about how we should leave a tip. The waiter said that we should not go out to eat if we could not afford to leave a tip, because it wasn't enough to just pay the bill. We always come here and always leave a tip but the one time we didn't the waiter gave us a disgusting attitude about it. The negligent owner stood there and did nothing. He lied about not being able to speak English when he clearly did. Even though in fact we did leave a small tip, the waiter obnoxiously voiced his displeasure with the amount that was left. The waiter clearly saw that the restaurant was empty and that we were two young girls he could take advantage of and harass for more money, as he clearly did not make enough tips that day. He also had the audacity to ask me not to come back again because I did not tip, as if I would ever return after the disgusting and rude treatment by the owner and his staff.
NEVER coming here again. And you should only come here if u want someone to harass u about tips and tell you how to spend your money. Also beware of rude waiters who will harass young...
Read moreWe came in for the first time on a Friday evening. Place was not crowded. We were seated right away. Within a few minutes the waitress brought us waters and took our order. A few minutes after that she brought us our miso soup. That's when things started to go south. Took forever to get our food in our waitress never came back to the table with any information. My wife had to ask about our food after what seemed like forever. After a few minutes the waitress brought my food but not my wife's. My wife had to wait another three to five minutes for her food while I sat there. There were no apologies or any explanation from the waitress. After we got our food she never came back to the table except when my wife asked for a fork for me. She did not fill our water glasses. She brought our check took my credit card brought the check back didn't say much. Again the place was not that crowded. I don't know why it took so long to get our food and I don't know why the waitress gave us such poor service. On the positive note the food was pretty good and the prices were fair. Not sure we'll ever go...
