I am deeply disappointed and quite frankly appalled by my recent experience at this establishment. As a patron, I expected respect and courtesy, but instead, I encountered a blatant disregard for basic civil liberties.
I was peacefully recording my surroundings from the public space near the shop - a right protected under the First Amendment. I was not invading anyone's privacy, nor was I breaking any laws. However, the staff at the shop interfered with my activities, clearly overstepping their boundaries and infringing on my rights.
This incident not only highlights the shop's disregard for the First Amendment rights of individuals, but it also casts a negative light on their public image and customer relations. It's concerning that a business would so openly disrespect the rights of its customers. Such an attitude could potentially lead to a loss of customers, myself included.
Moreover, I believe this situation could have been an opportunity for the staff to educate themselves and their customers about civil liberties. Instead, their actions revealed a lack of awareness about these rights, contributing to a less informed and less respectful community.
This experience has left me questioning the shop's commitment to transparency and accountability. It feels as though there's a hidden agenda when a business interferes with recording in public spaces, which is typically a sign of operating within the law.
Due to these reasons, I feel compelled to warn others about this establishment. It's important to support businesses that respect their customers and uphold their rights. Unfortunately, based on my experience, this shop does not seem to be one of those establishments.
I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and takes the necessary steps to rectify these issues. Until then, I'll be taking my business elsewhere and recommending others...
Read moreThe store manager, Emerald, and the employees here are incredibly slow. When I order coffee, instead of preparing it right away, I'm asked to wait while they serve other customers first. At other Starbucks locations, I never experience this delay—my coffee is made promptly.
I’ve spoken with over 50 customers and 20 employees, and they all agree that things have gone downhill since Emerald became the manager. The previous store manager (Jason) ran the store smoothly. The employees were energetic, the vibe was welcoming, and the service was much better. Our local Starbucks deserves a capable manager, and frankly, anyone but Emerald would be an improvement.
The strange part is that when Emerald is present, no one dares to speak up. It's like the energy has been sucked out of the store. In comparison, when Jason was in charge, the employees greeted every customer warmly, one by one.
We need a new store manager who can restore that positive atmosphere. Emerald might be better suited as an employee, but definitely not as a manager. It’s worth mentioning that the district manager is aware of the situation but has done nothing to address it.
I’m even considering gathering over 200 signatures from the local community and running a poll to ask Starbucks corporate to replace Emerald. Read moreMy orders have been messed up more than once before and recently and including the food has been over cooked and burnt and or undercooked They can’t even have the courtesy to tell you that they no longer have that item so they just replace it with something else and it’s not right because there’s people who might be allergic to something and they can’t just replace it without telling the customer and also they don’t even fill up your cup how it’s supposed to be especially when you pay extra for things such as cup size and or other additions to your beverage and they just give you half or less of something when you had already payed for it, ridiculous and instead of telling you before you pay ..they proceed and just don’t put it in the order. like what is the purpose of paying for some thing that they don’t even put on your order and at that point they’re just taking away my money without putting in what is ask for in the order and or they could tell you and replace it with something else with the same price that you already paid for it but either way it is just a horrible customer experience there and the staff forgets about the lobby and seems like they have trouble being organized and clean because the lobby is just a mess and I once saw a customer return back dirty cups from her order and I guess cleanliness is an issue and their staff is just...
