Tucked away in the far corner of the Placentia Village Center is Craft Burger Co. (Next to The Original Pancake House.)
Upon entering you are greeted with the wonderful aroma of burgers being cooked. Reminds me of the barbecue you suddenly smell when the neighbors are outside in the backyard cooking next door. I love that smell!
As you look around you see the bar area front and center.
Serving up local craft brewery favorites. I must have counted at least 25 taps on the wall behind the bar.
We were greeted right away in what seemed to be a fast paced operation. The staff was friendly as they moved around in a busy way, tending to their patrons. We were seated by the window which had a view of their outside patio seeting area. Indoor and outdoor seating options are always a plus.
The atmosphere was fun, a little loud as people were enjoying their conversations, the food and ice cold beverages. I saw all types of people, different ages, and families with children having a good time.
The menu had quite a variety of burgers and side dishes to choose from. They have a dozen different signature burgers. If you know what you want but it's not the menu, they will custom make your burger. You can build your burger your own way! How awesome is that! I saw they have several salad options and a bunch of fries and tots topped with various items as well.
I ended up ordering the Garlic Signature Burger. With a side of their Cheddar Mac 'n Cheese. It did not disappoint. You know how you order off the photos from the menu? When it arrives, it rarely comes out like the photo, right? Have you ever heard "We eat with our eyes first." Well this looked better than the photo! It was a work of art, a perfect presentation. The size of it was pretty big too! It came with a knife in the bun to hold it all together.
If your looking for some quality comfort food, try this place out and support our local small businesses!
They serve hand made ice cream shakes. They have alot of non-alcoholic beverages to choose from as well. Fountain drinks, coffee and tea. I will definitely be coming back to try other menu items soon! I recommend this spot for a great hand crafted delicious burger. Wash it all down with your favorite choice of beverage. Maybe catch the game as they have sports on all their big screen TVs. This is a casual place with clean restrooms and a caring staff. All Important items I check for when recommending a new place.

Read moreCraft Burger in the village plaza. Never been here. Had a lot of taps for IPA’s. Looks like a cool spot. Popped in for some lunch with the family. Wasn’t too busy. Sat down immediately. Waitress was great. Smile and took our order. Unfortunately, my son’s order did not come out to order specifications (they took it back and came back with no cheese in less than a minute). The world famous chili was too salty (I wouldn’t call it world famous). Too watery and it lacked texture, balance, and meat. The Asian salad was decent but the dressing was “suspect”, it was like pouring syrup. Chicken nuggets were good. Crispy. Chicken sandwiches were decent. Not bad actually. I should’ve had their smash craft burger instead. Maybe that would’ve got the food 4 stars. I do rate the food here at 3.5 stars. It’s definitely bar food. Lacks character and definitely way too much SALT!! Taste your creations or use less sodium! I still tipped my waitress as she was attentive and still smiling. I won’t be going back here unfortunately. Try it for yourself if you like. Maybe the burger and IPA will be better food...
Read moreJust opened this week! My husband and I were hoping that something would go in this space and we were not disappointed. We both did a build your own burger - my husband likes very little on his burgers and I like all the sauces and toppings so we both were so happy with this option. They had great topping options - eggs, bacon, pickled onions - sub beef for impossible, veggie, or salmon patties. We got buffalo cheese fries too - simple but delicious! They brought sodas in huge cups that can easily be taken to go - refills were generous and constant. All of the staff was so nice and friendly. We even had a moment to chat with Doug, one of the owners. He was so passionate about their food and walked us through their homemade sauces and how they specially make their onion rings which I will have to come back for next time. The ingredients were good quality, the portions were just right, and the food was just all around delicious. Can’t wait to return to try their milkshakes and onion rings! Highly recommend. This is our new favorite...
