The Meltdown — Restaurant in Placentia

I think if you are in the mood for really fatty food, and you've got a lot of time to wait this could work for you. As long as you know you can't go sit down inside. You have to order it online, then you have to pick it up inside of Denny's at the counter, and then you leave with it. And it took a lot of extra time beyond their pickup time. The grilled cheese was so grilled that we could not bite through some of the crusts. If you tried it would scratched your gums to pieces cuz it was just so messy. Some of the bread pieces were so overcooked they were burnt. Some of them they put a 1.5 inch slice of cheese and that was it! I think my suggestion would be is order a kids meal and order the fruit to go with it. The kids got a great selection of fruit, and the turkey and cheese was good. Again the crusts were so hard we had to peel that off for the kids. So that was my biggest complaint really was just how overcooked those crusts were that you couldn't actually bite it without trying to use the side of your mouth to bite through it and then be careful while chewing it. Taste wise it wasn't bad, but it was very expensive for what it was. It sounded like a good idea, but you can make NO modifications to the menu whatsoever. So I would have loved to have had a turkey with the grilled onions but that wasn't even an option to do. So I had to do the beef to get the grilled onions and the beef was so tough my jaw was tired after eating half of one & we ended up wasting a lot of food just because it was hard to eat.
