Perry’s Place — Restaurant in Placentia

This place is like mixed nuts you don't know what you're getting? So I drove by the place many times it looks like it's called Tom's sometimes it looks like Tim's finally found out its Tim's I guess they used to be called Tom's and I guess there was some kind of issue with the name so they had to change it! So from the outside the place looks pretty good it always looks packed it was three of us that went there my wife myself and my son went there do you have lunch. The food's really good and the portions are ginormous that's a good part! The service was good! BUT AND BUT I SAY! The FLOORS looked pretty dirty I mean the were gross! They were disgusting! The interesting part is they give you coupons to go back! Will I I'm not sure! And not to mention that I had so much food that I had to take it home at the pastrami which was wrapped on the other half and the next day when I went to eat it I took off the wrapping and found a big hair inside the rapper I know it wasn't mine because I don't have hair on my head shaved luckily it was between the rappers and not in the food but...

I've been coming here for a year, long before Tom's Place took over for Market Fresh. Market Fresh was AMAZING with a wonderful owner, friendly staff, and excellent costomer service. Cannot say the same after these people who took over. Our ambulance company EMTs and nurses, who work on the ambulance, always got a first responder discounts unti yesterday. The cashier who was processing our order denied our EMS discount, so I asked who the manger was, so she pointed toward manager Jessica, who was standing near by. Instead of coming to politely apologize to us for refusing to give us a discount and explain the reason, she just have us a dirty, absolutely ugly look and said that she's going to make sure to repromend an employee we mentioned (who is an amazing and customer-friendly employee!) who has been giving us a discount in the past. Extremely unprofessional, ugly, rude, and simply unacceptable attitude for a manager! I've been coming here for a year, but after how rudly she treated us, EMS workers, yesterday, I do not think I'll be coming here...

First time I had the party melt, which was excellent. Great meat quality and it was not overly salty like a lot of places serve. Huge serving of fresh fries. The combo could easily feed 2 people.

I went the NEXT DAY because of how good it was and tried the club sandwich combo. Another excellent experience with fries fresh and enough for me to take home. My leftovers filled a full sized clamshell take home container. Keep in mind I am a 300 pound dude. They also have hot chilies which are a wonderful addition.

The service was excellent and on both days the staff were friendly and had a happy demeanor. I feel that says a lot about the quality of ownership and management. They have TVs there too with sports on so if you're eating alone like I do, you don't feel like a loser.

I'm looking forward to trying their Mexican food and...
