I am absolutely APPALLED. My mom called to order at Dominos after being unable to use the online portal because it kept saying the order cannot be processed, even with using multiple cards (of course with money in it). When calling, she told the person who answered that she should have a free pizza there because last time the order was very messed up and they promised her a free pizza. They put her on hold, said her name is not on the list and before my mom got the chance to give her order anyway the man on the phone kept pressing buttons so she couldn’t speak. We called back and they did the same thing. I called on my phone, the guy answered and then pressed buttons again. I waited 5 minutes then called again on my moms phone and this time he answered and said “your name is not on the list I don’t know what to tell you, you’re not going to get a free pizza” and hung up. Didn’t even give me the chance to say that’s fine, I still need to make my order. No big deal was made over the lack of my mom’s name being on the list. We just wanted to order food for us and my toddler and kept trying because we had coupons. I called AGAIN and it was someone else. I said I would like to speak to the manager and he said I am speaking to him. I told him that I was hung up on, not given the chance to order, and that it’s not okay to hang up on anyone. He responded “yeah I can see why that happened” I said excuse me..? And he responded “I completely understand why he hung up on you, you’re asking for a free pizza, we are extremely busy and we don’t have time for you” I was appalled. I told him that is not okay, that I was still wanting to order and never did I make a big deal about the stupid free pizza. And he responded “ma’am.. are you okay? Are you okay ma’am?” And then hung up on me again. Needless to say we will never, ever be ordering from any dominos ever again and I really hope this post gets taken seriously or you’re going to lose even more business. Read moreOrdered online - arrived there in 15 minutes - Caleb, the manager informed me they JUST started making my order - and mind you... they were not even that busy(8PM random Sunday evening). In the meantime, whilst having to wait another 15 minutes or so, I asked another employee who happened to be at the cash register, "if I could please", get a "Garlic" and a "Marinara" sauce to go with my food... Caleb, the manager, barked out from beyond, "I HAVE TO PAY FOR THOSE!!", which I didn't appreciate vey much, considering I had the money in hand and ready to pay for the over-priced sauce cups. His Extremely Poor and ill equipped managerial skills caused three unnecessary issues to happen that night: 1) Food was not ready like it was supposed to when I got there 2) Very poor and offensive/confrontational communication skills and 3) If he and his staff were doing the right things, my food probably would have been READY and the first two issues would have never happened. This has, now, made it very difficult for me to do business with this establishment. I WILL NOT be going back and especially for Caleb's, hostile outburst! I don't need to be talked down to in a rude manner, as if I were trying to Steal or Beg for extra food! This was totally inappropriate and unnecessary, and further more, he didn't need to be barking in like that from the back, when I was already talking with another employee.. It's like he was going out of his Waaayy... to be rude for some reason. You can give a shout out and BIG Thanks to "Caleb" for Ruining another Customer that used to frequent this place a LOT! Read moreI had a delivery order for 5:00 on 9/1. At 5:20, I called and they said it was heading out the door. They got to my house at 5:40 and gave me 4 boxes....the 4 medium pizzas I ordered and a bag of icing and 4 marinara sauces...which I ordered. She did not have my 2 types of bread and 2 desserts. She said they will refund the whole order and I said don't worry about the rest of the order cuz idk how long the company will be there. She came back at 6:00 and said they are still refunding everything, but they wanted to send the food anyways. The driver was very pleasant and apologetic. Currently, I do not have a refund showing up on my card, just the initial bill. Hopefully it will come through cuz then I might try this place again. Ironically, I used Dominos cuz Pizza Hut has missed stuff the 2 times I have ordered from them and I thought this would be safer route. :(
Update: I wanted to give a couple extra days because of Labor day, but as of 9/10 at 8PM, there is no refund in my account. Now I get to call them and hope they believe my story... :(
Second update: I went to dominos tonight, talked to the manager and she looked up the order. She said it had.not been refunded, but she did refund it and by later on tonight, it was pending in my account. Thank...
