This subway is a joke. I tried getting a job here 2 years ago (with two years of subway experience during college) and never got a call back. Yet they are continually hiring old folks who are often former (or current) addicts to work instead. Ridiculous because the service has been absolutely trash unless the manager Amgie is there or a decent young person. The other workers they have are incredibly slow as well. Lady coughed all through making my sandwich and then doesn't know how to work the cash register. She has been there at least a month. Utter ridiculous staff they have here. I don't expect 5 star quality everywhere. For a restaurant such a subway to be this trash is astonishing. I don't go often but there's a 50% chance either the service will be really slow and/or they will be to lazy to get the ingredients out the freezer. Had a kid tell me the eggs were frozen, like you can't microwave or toast them to warm up. I've worked at subway for two years, less than 5 years ago. I know the game. No complaints about the staff, they're putting in their hours just trying to get by.
I feel bad for them because the owner clearly doesn't understand how business operates. There's a paper sign on the door that feels straight off a Twitter rant that explicitly states "due to increases in costs of labor, we don't accept Subway coupons anymore" which is absurd when locations all around this one do accept them. And it's never the cost of labor that's the problem, for anyone unfamiliar with economics, paying your workers is pennies compared to other costs, but blaming it on your workers is petty.
Multiple items from my online order were not available when I went to pick them up, and I had to make last minute replacements because the website didn't indicate they were out. No idea who's fault that is, but no other subway has shown they had an item and then didn't when I arrived.

Read moreI used to go to this subway 3-4 times a week for lunch, until they hired some kid named London that works during lunch. It seems like he goes out of his way to show no enthusiasm, you have to tell him 2-3 times what you want on your sandwich and even then it’s not right. I feel bad for the lady who seems to always be working with him during lunch you can tell she’s trying to work around him but just gets brought down with him.
