Just had a situation where the employee admitted fault for something and said to pull forward, only for the active manager to say ‘he shouldn’t have done that’. So i guess it’s my fault that someone wasn’t trained properly? Cool. I hadn’t ever been to this location in GR, as i usually go to Michigan or Fuller, but this was honestly the silliest interaction i’ve had; especially since the employee admitted fault. I wasn’t looking for anything to be comped or done taken off my bill, i just wanted the promo that i LITERALLY asked for when ordering. And the when the employee said the misunderstood me and wanted to make it right, i pulled to the next day window and, again, was told that it was an employee issue. And tbh, at that point, i’d have just paid. i had only come back round because i had something ELSE missing from my initial order, but the employee admitted that it was their fault and said they would fix it, only to be told 30 seconds later at the next window that ‘he shouldn’t have done that’ by the same manager? Read moreI was ignored by at least 5 employees while standing at the counter to get a receipt because the kiosk was out of paper. Once I finally got someone’s attention I was told they couldn’t provide me with my receipt because I ordered at the kiosk by the shift manager. So I asked for a refund and again the manager said they were unable to issue a refund because I ordered from a kiosk. The shift manager said she was never trained for these issues. The drink station was actually gross with trash and spilled pop and out of straws as well. The food was not warm and quite rubbery. Every table in the play area was dirty and the floors were needed to be cleaned badly. My kids stated that the women’s restroom was out of order and trashed and I personally notice the men’s room smelled awful. I was there on 6/4/24 arrived around 6:15 PM and left at 7:00 PM. I recall a time when McDonals employees learned about the importance of things like customer service, being respectful to customers and proper training, it was a place where someone could learn how to excel in a work place. Read moreThe manager name Tae, yelled at a girl employee named Tammy in front of myself and three other customers. Tammy had asked me how my chemo treatment went and TAE, said excuse me you have ppl behind you very loud, I was appalled, shocked, embarrassed for the employee and the other customers. Tammy the cashier didn't stop moving the hole time she was taking my order getting it ready. Then I quickly brush out of the way and apologise to the couple behind me, but their looks said it all they were just as shocked, they told me to go right ahead and talk but I still stepped aside. THEN to top it off VERY LOUDLY this TAE announces for Tammy to finish talking to me and pushed Tammy after from the cash register, by then I was so mad at this kind d TAE bc she just thought she was all that. I couldn't believe what I just saw. I was emotionally abused by my mom that was where she belittled me in front of other people and I grew up to be a psychiatrist.
