Bottom line up front: Despite generally good food, the service and safety of this restaurant left a LOT to be desired and we won't be returning.

The food: General Tso's cauliflower was shockingly good, and most of the other food we ordered was pretty good. The macaroni and cheese was just okay...a bit too dry and sticky, and not very rich or as flavorful as you'd expect for a restaurant. The burgers all of us got were quite tasty, as were the fries. On the bad side, despite my wife saying that she's allergic to tomatoes and requesting that they not include one with her burger, one did in fact come with her burger, which was also under-cooked significantly.

Service / Other: Even in a post-Covid environment, the host sat a full table of 6 people right next to us, even though there were literally six other empty tables in that section of the restaurant that went totally empty the entire time we were there. Space your patrons out! This place seems to take literally NO precautions with Covid. There were four of us at the table, and all our waters were completely empty for a good 5-10 minutes before they were refilled, and it wasn't busy at all. Appetizers arrived with no plates to actually eat them, and we had to wait some time for those to come out. I asked for a basic substitution on the side of my burger, and was told that's not possible at all. The restaurant made absolutely no attempt to fulfill my request (even when I asked for being upcharged for the substitute), which is not how you should handle customers in a service industry. Don't tell a customer "NO"... you're a new restaurant in an industry wrecked by a global pandemic--figure something out, or offer to accommodate them somehow. The manager who came by and asked how things were going was probably the worst manager I've ever interacted with, and made it clear to me that they didn't take good service very seriously.

All in all, the food was decent, but given how many other restaurants are out there struggling with Covid who care about customer service and also have good food, I'd recommend taking your business literally anywhere else. Poor service has a way of ruining what would otherwise be a good meal, and going out to eat ought to be a special occasion where you feel like the host actually cares about making your...

If you're looking for a place to have a "brew-tiful" time, look no further than Nigh Brewpub in Plainfield, IN! This place is the "ale-star" of the town, and it's easy to see why.

From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with a warm atmosphere that says, "beer me up, Scotty!" The decor is a delightful mix of rustic charm and modern flair, making you feel right at home. The staff? Oh, they're "hoppy" to see you and ready to serve up some of the best brews you've ever tasted.

Let's talk about the beer. Nigh Brewpub has a selection that's "lager than life." Whether you're a fan of IPAs, stouts, or something in between, they've got you covered. I tried their signature "Night Owl IPA," and let me tell you, it was a "hop-tastic" experience. The flavors were so well-balanced, it was like a symphony in my mouth. And don't even get me started on their "Stout of This World" – it's rich, creamy, and downright "brew-tiful."

But wait, there's more! The food at Nigh Brewpub is "grill-iant." Their menu is packed with delicious options that pair perfectly with their beers. I highly recommend the "Brewpub Burger" – it's a "bun-derful" creation that's juicy, flavorful, and topped with all the right fixings. And if you're a fan of appetizers, their "Pretzel Bites" are a "twist" you won't want to miss.

The entertainment at Nigh Brewpub is also top-notch. They often have live music that will make you want to "tap" your feet and dance the night away. It's the perfect place to unwind, have fun, and make memories with friends.

In conclusion, Nigh Brewpub is a "pitcher-perfect" spot for anyone looking to enjoy great beer, delicious food, and a fantastic atmosphere. It's a place where the night is always young, and the brews are always fresh. So, gather your friends, head on over, and get ready to have a "brew-tiful" time!

Cheers to Nigh Brewpub – you're the "ale-star"...

A very cozy and family friendly atmosphere. I was impressed by the list of beers, and decided on the Cordially Yours Stout. Dark, creamy, smooth and a great balance of sweet from chocolate and cherries, and dryness from dark roasted malts. We ordered the large Buffalo Chicken Dip which came in a bowl with a large bowl of tortilla chips. The Buffalo Chicken Dip was chock full of tender chicken. It was smooth and creamy with a hint of heat from the Buffalo Sauce. It was so delicious I could have eaten the dip by itself with a spoon. The Beer Braised Beef sandwich was delicious. The meat was moist and flavorful, and the bread was crunchy and sturdy enough to hold up to the meat. The waffle fries were ok but at times flavorless because of lack of seasoning, cool to the touch and cat times dry. Sadly, the Fried Buffalo Chicken Mac N Cheese was a major disappointment. The Fried Buffalo Chicken was tender and crispy and tasted even better with the Buffalo Sauce. It was then topped with diced tomatoes, Ranch Sauce and Bleu Cheese crumbles. That was on top of freshly cooked pasta. There was no cheese anywhere in the pasta dish. The menu was very misleading because this meal dish was listed as a Mac N Cheese meal when it was really a pasta dish. My son didn't eat much of that meal, and decided to finish off the Buffalo Chicken Dip. For dessert we ordered the Chocolate Peanut Butter Cake. That was extremely delicious. My son loved the creaminess of the peanut butter frosting meshed between the rich chocolate cake. I ate the Peanut Butter cookie which was firm yet soft in the middle with crispy edges, and a great taste of peanut butter. Our server was very friendly...

Hmm. Where do I begin....I'll start with the beer because it was the worst. I don't often have long posts about restaurants, only when a place is really good or really bad. I'm a long-time IPA lover. I'm somewhat spoiled as Oregon has some of the best beer one can get. When I dislike a beer, I finish it and move on, but Nigh missed the mark.....so far....with what they call an IPA it's obscene. The "IPAs" were sweet and not any bit bitter. It's like they didn't pitch enough yeast when they fermented the beer. It tasted like a glass of watered down syrup, with a funky bad aftertaste. I typically drink some gnarly IPAs, but this stuff from Nigh was so bad I couldn't finish it. Good thing I got a flight, so only 2 tiny 3/4 filled classes went back. Instead of dirtying glasses, just poor what you have left down the sink. Beer =⭐ As for the food, I keep it simple and ordered a burger. Can't screw up a burger right? Menu reads like the patty would be fresh, but the patty came suspiciously round - like frozen round, paper thin cheese, and small portions. Bland. The other stuff they were serving looked pretty good, I guess just stay away from the burger unless you like flavor. Burger = ⭐ I liked the atmosphere. Cool place. The bartender was very nice. Waitress was busy, so we had to order from the bartender. Food menu looked decent. I was excited by the beer selection. Nigh Brewpub is nigh, just a short distance away.....but their beer isn't even close.

I was a bit apprehensive when I walked in, because the decor, furniture and lighting made the place look like a workplace cafeteria. But I was stuck without a car at a nearby hotel, so I decided to make the best of it and bellied up to the bar. Super friendly bartenders made me feel like a regular and never hesitated to give me tasters. I ended up here two nights in a row, and got to try a good chunk of the beer list. Everything I tried was good to great, across a bunch of styles. I was really impressed. From a simple but flawless pale ale to the malty Scottish ale, the key lime Berliner Weiss was tart and tasty, and the IPAs were west coast style, my favorite. Food was good, I had a panini one night and Mac and cheese the other. Big plates, good value. Couldn't have been happier with my experience here.
