We were anxiously awaiting the opening of this location for the last year and it was well worth the wait.

My husband ordered the chicken satay and I ordered the falafel bites, spanakopita, and Greek salad. Both the falafel and chicken satay came with a healthy order of pita bread,a lemon, and the falafel came with a side order of hummus (I can't recall if the chicken satay came with any dips, but I think it maybe came with tzatziki). The only thing I would do different about the Greek salad is add lettuce, but perhaps this is how it's traditionally prepared in Greece. We didn't order it, but friends of ours ordered the orange cake and raved about it.

The owner, Sachin, is incredibly nice and the establishment is fresh, new, and clean! We have already ordered a couple of times since our first visit and will happily support this business...

I recently visited Plainfield Gyro & Deli and had the pleasure of trying their Falafel Gyro made with authentic Greek ingredients. It was an absolute delight! The falafel was perfectly crispy on the outside and soft and flavorful on the inside. It was paired beautifully with fresh veggies and creamy tzatziki sauce. The pita was hand-made, brought from Greece, and warm and soft, wrapping everything together just right. I had it with their special Spicy Feta & Tzatziki sauce, which added a delightful kick. You could really taste the quality and care put into each bite. Plainfield Falafel Gyro is a hidden gem in Plainfield, and I highly recommend it to anyone craving a delicious...

The food is pretty good, the place is clean, and food comes quick. The customer service is lacking...it would be great if staff was bilingual because it was very challenging placing a order. Not to mention the system was down where I could have place my order 🤷🏾‍♀️. Staff person didn't even greet me she just pointed to a tablet/computer to place my order. As mentioned above that was down...thank God she was on the phone because if it was for that I wouldn't have been able to place my order. Anywho decent food and clean restaurant it has potential....
