Pollo Campero — Restaurant in Plainfield

Today August 5th at 4:50 pm I came to buy a chicken because I really like to shop at this place, well, in the different locations of the same pollo campero place, but this girl who is here serving, who apparently is a manager of this place, has served me in the most vulgar and detestable way that one could believe that she is the manager of a business, she has no respect for the clients of the place nor does she know how to respect her work schedule with the phone in her hand sending me away, she didn't even give me my glass for my drink and she behaved in a way that one would never want to return to this business, I am the owner of a business and these types of people are so detestable, they do not deserve to have a job where they live with more people who come to consume foods...

This was our first time trying Pollo Campero in the U.S. and was really blown away on how delicious it taste like back home in Guatemala.

The Yuca fries are to die for. They are soft, moist, and crispy on the outside.

The chicken was delicious and juicy.

Our order came out as expected. The chicken was extra fresh out the oil.

The staff here were very welcoming and helpful.

The restaurant is clean, especially the two bathrooms (you will need a code from the cashier to unlock the bathroom doors), and quiet.

This is located in a busy area but there is parking at the back of the restaurant!

I highly recommend stopping here to grab some fresh...

A friend of mine told me about this place so we all went for lunch. I have to say it is commercial but I had the grilled chicken sandwich which was really good, small but tasty. I had the plantains and was not to find of them, they needed to be cooked more, especially towards the center. Not what I'm a custom too. I also had the mango drink, that was pretty good also. A buddy of mine swears by the fired chicken and I would say I believe him cause it looked really good, but again....seemed liked it should have been cooked a bit longer. Would I go back? Yes, but I would ensure the food is cooked longer. Service was good also and...
