Pueblo Viejo — Restaurant in Plainfield

Let me first say that I grew up coming into Plainfield for business and family, so I was never worried of any area within Plainfield.

This restaurant is located in an area where many people who aren’t comfortable in Plainfield don’t go, but there’s nothing wrong with this area and this restaurant is a great place to come and try!

As a few other people said, if you want a quick meal go across the street to McDonalds because the wait is long...like 20 - 30 minutes for your complete meal to come out, but when it does you won’t be mad about the wait! My family has picked up take out from here many times and today we went with both little kids. The wait was long but the waitresses gave all the kids in the restaurant ballons to play with!

We had taco de langua and Churrasquito Chapin, both dishes are cooked to perfection and filled 2 adults and a 3yr old. The place is very clean and really big inside. I recommend the fresh natural juices, especially the melon.

Park in the parking lot and make sure you feed the meter, I wouldn’t recommend going here at 11pm on a weekend due to an active bar scene but for breakfast, lunch and dinner you will...

Always try to support local and I understand prices have gone up after Covid however I don’t understand how my friend whom I brought into town was charged $80 for 3 Micheladas, a churrasco and a White fish entree. The service was bad, waitress did not wipe down the table when we sat and the table was visibly dirty. Long wait to take our order and long wait to receive our food. Unacceptable service...
