Main Street Diner — Restaurant in Plainville

The last time I was in the area I drove over an hour and waited around ten minutes to be able to sit down not only because they were super busy but more importantly because I know their food is so good I would have waited another hour if I had to. The smells alone are enough to drive someone’s brainwaves and tastebuds into a pure bliss that is only obtained by the most amazing of things! The atmosphere was exactly as you would expect for around mid day on a Sunday in one of the greatest spots ever, packed full of happy people and a wait staff that is an absolute pleasure to watch operate. I swear they move like a well oiled machine only way better! I can only imagine how everything looks behind the scene and after experiencing the final products I’m left to believe it’s a display that matches the energy and precision we get to witness out front. My go to has always been a breakfast chimichanga usually with bacon and ham but they do also offer sausage as well. I can not express enough how amazing I find it and the worst part, for me at least, is someone else may think they can make one but I’ve yet to come across anyone who can even come close to the absolute magic that comes out on the plate when you order one from here. My only regret is never giving them a chance when I lived right down the road. Now I am far away and coming here is a rare treat. Don’t be like me. Go there every chance you get. You will not be...

So u kno when u have multiple unexpectedly good experiences from a spot that u used to pass by all the time & you'd tell urself you'd try sometime & then when u finally did u wondered why u didn't sooner? -Even to the point beyond merely reminding urself to make sure & leave a review; u also go in after doing so & like/tap the "helpful" thumbs up on the reviews others have left too that are similar to ur own? ...This is one of those places for me. :)

...ok fine-jk, I'll list em: Great diner fare that looks & tastes he made, cute/old timey vibe with clean & cozy atmosphere, suuuper friendly, awesome, accommodating staff, 10 out of 10--new favorite breakfast spot! (Oh yea, and the menu is nicely done/well laid out and has pictures...idk if anybody else cares about little details like that, but figured I'd note it just in case since it was bonus points for me...not nearly as much as the awesome ppl here of course, or the yummy...

The food is expensive to start and took 50 minutes to be made. When it arrived they gave us the wrong food giving us a meat burrito instead of the vegetarian burrito then proceeded to charge us more for the increased price that we did not order and did not offer to have the difference in price waived. They proceeded to imply that it would be much more effort to make the correct meal for us. When we went to pay the bill, the total price for the meal they gave was 12$ more on the receipt for some reason compared with the price of the items that we ordered. When I asked to see where that $12 came from, the Waitress said something about multiplying everything by 1.35x without any further explanation... It took me close to 10 minutes to finally get the attention of the wait staff to pay the bill. By that time so much time had passed since we had started our meal I had to cancel my doctor’s appointment that I had following since I was so late. The food was also mediocre at best.

Breakfast food should be fast and cheap and this place was neither of these things. Breakfast for 3...
