McDonald's — Restaurant in Plainville

Ok, I'm old enough to have grandchildren AND have lived all over the US as part of my military family. This McDonald's is one of the worst I have ever seen.

I was surprised their shake machine was up during breakfast. I'm taking a medication that for some reason hits better. I ordered it with no whip cream. Got to the window in time to see whip cream going on it. I tried to stop her. The wait was 20 minutes after being parked to get it. They had deleted the order to stop their DT times, so the worker hadn't seen the no part of the order. My eggs had shell in them - a lot. Sausage was burnt. I figured could just be a new employee or something, so gave it another chance.

Day 2. Was told they are no longer offering shakes in the morning & it's my fault. I had found that the previous day's issue of the person not understanding the word "shake" & having to get someone else to talk to me was not a 1-off. She hardly spoke English, but was an order taker... This time my scrambled eggs were so runny that I ruined a legal pad on my desk, When I checked my car, it was all over the seat. Again, the eggs had shell, sausage was still burnt, and there were other issues. Neither time did I get my hashbrowns. Both times the people were rude af!

I called cooperate after the owner refused a return phone call. I got an email that was just, "We take pride in orders done right. Sorry your order was wrong." Order was wrong?! I couldn't eat either breakfast & had to spend $$ to have something delivered after spending roughly $25 each time for the 2 of us for their slop. New job & I would have been a regular customer for the 2 days I...

As I've posted before McDonald's is a fast food restaurant so I don't expect five star restaurant food or service but with the cost of their food not being cheap anymore I do expect food that's edible. The french fries I ordered were absolutely disgusting. they didn't taste like french fries they weren't crispy they were drenched in oil and the oil tasted like old stale oil and there were dripping of it. Extremely disgusting. I also ordered two large coffees both with the same amount of cream and sugar. 2 identical coffees. Not only we're both of the coffee's made completely wrong versus what I ordered but they were made completely different from one another which I don't know how you can screw up two identical coffees. Neither was made to the order and they were both made completely different I don't get it. All I wanted was some fries and a cup of coffee and another cup for the morning since I'm out of coffee at home right now. The fries were inedible and both coffees were made so wrong I won't drink either. And as for fast food well the coffee's were handed to me pretty quick but the french fries I waited a long time like 11 minutes so I thought they were making fresh french fries and then I got these old stale oily tasting, almost pungent, greasy things that were anything but fresh. They probably collected them from the floor...

This particular McDonald's is currently under construction doing an upgrade / renovations and as a result, it's a nightmare. Indoor dining is completely closed and while they do have a drive-thru, there is no drive-thru speaker to place an order at. You have to go to the pickup window to place your order, pay for your order, and receive your order. As a result the line was very long. As usual, I was disappointed. My meal is never complicated, basic things yet somehow it is always wrong. Since I could see them packing my bag because of the current ordering situation, I knew they put the wrong items in the bag. When they handed it to me I said it was wrong and immediately the gal began to argue with me. I opened the bag and sure enough it was wrong. I don't know how, since I ordered at the window and picked up at the window, no orders in front of me for them to confuse it with. But they did..... I saw seven employees standing around the milkshake machine just talking and chatting and laughing. Three of them were on their phone and none of them had masks on. Seven employees, no inside dining, no order speaker, no cashier window, the entire restaurant consists of one window and with A total of 8 employees (The one doing my order plus the seven doing nothing) the only order they had to process was...
