We visited for breakfast and tried a variety of dishes. I started with a coffee, which was fresh. For the main course, my daughter had the Kid's Silver Dollar Pancakes, which were a hit with our little one. The addition of strawberries on the side was a nice touch and made for a delightful breakfast.
The standout dishes, however, were the Rob's Hash Omelette and the Red Salsa Chilaquiles. The hash and cheese omelette was amazing, packed with flavor and cooked to perfection. But the true star of our meal was the Red Salsa Chilaquiles. They were out of this world – the perfect blend of spice and savory goodness, topped with over-easy eggs and tender azada.
The service was prompt and friendly, making our dining experience even more enjoyable. Vanessa, our cashier, ensured that everything was to our liking and provided excellent customer service.
Overall, Rob's Kitchen offers a warm and welcoming atmosphere with delicious food that leaves a lasting impression. I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a great breakfast spot in Plainville. We'll definitely...
Read moreExcited about trying out a new breakfast spot. Food was decent, but sadly will not return. A coffee came with my daughter's meal (ordered an "adult" meal to have some to take home), but wasn't able to get it to drink myself. They said I would have to buy my own coffee if I wanted to drink it. I repeated the waitresses words to her in disbelief...she had received the direction from someone in the back. I asked her to go back and tell them that is ridiculous. The fact that this was even a discussion let's me know that they have a history of similar practices. I made my son sit down while he snuck a potato from my daughter's plate fearing they would charge a "shared plate" fee despite the fact that I purchased 3 full meals. 😂 Hope the cost of a coffee was worth NOT doing the right thing in the name of customer service! It appears this is a minority business. If so, saddened that they more than anyone should understand the negative ramifications of greed. Nevertheless, I pray you're able to sustain...
Read moreI have been going to this spot now for a little while.. (only because of the 2 American waitresses and the food) I love the food , the place is small and clean ! Just one thing I didn’t like .. you know you have Americans working for the place and as customers and all you here is the owners and the non-American workers sitting there talking in “Spanish” loudly in front of everyone, which makes me as a customer feel very uncomfortable, also witnessed the owners wife (I would assume) pull both American workers to the side to scold them in-front of the customers about interacting with the customers “to long”. Not sure how a waitress is suppose to get a tip if they don’t interact and care for the customer .. especially a regular customer at that . Also another thing I don’t like is .. why do the people who own the place take tables ??? Why do you even have workers working for you if that’s the case . Other than that CHECK THE...
