It's a hit or miss sort of situation here. I went to Village Pizza five years ago for the wonderful slices I heard about from a local self described slice-connoisseur. True to his word, slices of the highest caliber. I have ordered whole pies since then. A whole different animal. Hit or miss because here seems to lack consistency in form. Thin crust or thick, barely any sauce or drowning in it, too little cheese our way too much, lightly toasted or browned (or almost raw, as I suffered last time)? I have had them all and no level of quality control exists. Most times good food. I love the idea of supporting small family owned community businesses, but there exists a level of personal responsibility with these owners of business that a good product is expected in return for my hard earned money. (Last pizza was drowned in sauce, piled high with cheese, and seriously undercooked. Hits my gag reflex just thinking about it.) I have to give the guy the benefit of the doubt. Maybe he was training a new kid on making pies. Could've happened. But, it won't happen to us again. Sorry and best of luck to you, small business owner in my own community, but we must part ways. Still,...
Read moreI do a lot of Uber at night in the area, and for some reason, I’m always stopping at fast food joints pick up a quick burger and fries. But I thought this evening I would try something different. I’ve been hearing a lot of great things about you guys and their new owners. Walked in the place was spotless. Very well lit and a very nice atmosphere. Everybody greeted me very nicely. Met the manager, Chris. Very nice man and I ordered a medium pizza with sausage and mushrooms. Needless to say 30 minutes later, my pizza was gone every bit. I’m not much of a crust lover, but the crust on that pizza is incredible. I am a new customer of Village Pizza and I cannot wait to try the other items on your menu. Can’t wait...
Read moreThe workers of village pizza cannot seem to decide between undercooked food or overcooked food or no flavor whatsoever. Their fries or any other fried food have no crunch whatsoever. Their fried calamari is very fishy. Little to no breading on calamari. Service was very slow, asked why I was waiting for food for so long and their response was "a worker had a fight with the owner and left" so instead of 10-15 min wait it was 40. Usual waiting time is always around 30-40 min even for a couple items. Lady in front doesn't know what she's doing she left someone on hold trying to order and forgot. Someone in the back forgot to put garlic knots in to be baked, and they mess up orders. Real shame they're under...
