My wife and I both got barria tacos. The shell of the taco has a fresh and flavorful taste. The meat was cooked perfectly, had a great texture, however didn't offer much flavor. The soup for dipping was good, but for me the pico and the salsas packed so much flavor. Dipping these birria tacos in the spicier salsa complemented the meal with a spicy and smoky taste. The owner (I believe I spoke with) was extremely friendly and inviting. There is a nice selection of traditional sodas as well as Jarritos sodas, and horchata, hibiscus cold tea, and other drinks available. My wife had the hibiscus and it was great. I had a pineapple Jarritos and it was not overly sweet, and had just the right amount of carbonation.
Besides the Barria tacos which were fantastic, we got a side of the rice, which was cooked perfect and had a great taste as well. I hope these guys do great here, because the food has so much flavor and it is obvious they are cooking with love. Awesome meal. Price was very good for a home-cooked meal. Next time I want to try a quesadilla or the nachos. The couple areas to eat were nice, but there wasn't a ton of space for dining in. Definitely suggest getting it to go. Support more...
Read moreGreat taco spot! My husband got the birria tacos and they were amazing, great flavor and sauce they have a little sauce bar with spicy and mild options that you can dish out as much as you need. The green and red sauces were kind of spicy but still had a lot of good flavor. I got the plain nachos and tres leches cake, the nachos were so-so, good flavor but without beans or meat they’re pretty basic but still really good. The tres leches was amazing, not too soggy, great flavor. The service was phenomenal, we sat outside and the order taker was very attentive to us and he even chatted to us about babies since we had our newborn sleeping beside our table. The food came out super quick and he delivered and collected our plates. It’s a small restaurant but has plenty of seating inside and out and since it’s surrounded by mostly industrial businesses it’s very quiet in the neighborhood. We went during the day but they had large umbrellas to sit under but I wish we came at night because there is a lot of twinkle lights that I’m sure create such a lovely atmosphere at night. Great experience overall,...
Read moreWas driving by on my way to a delivery and decided to give it a shot. As soon as you open the door, you are greeted by the amazing smell coming out of the kitchen. There is no guessing that the food was going to be good. Its a nice small family spot, the type that gives you that warm feeling inside of you as soon step inside.
Al Pastor and Tinga are always my #1 go to if I want to "test" a new spanish spot.
I'd give the al pastor 4 out of 5 but the tinga was a 10 out of 5. Flavor on both was really good but the pastor was a little dry. Tinga was wiiiiicked good and on point. If it was local id be back all the time. Horchata was good, didnt taste like the artifical premade stuff you find at alot of places.
Their hot sauce was also very good. It had...
