My daughter, her boyfriend and I went out to eat last night. She treated all of us to what was supposed to be a delicious last meal as her boyfriend was flying home the following day. Our drinks were very good and prompt, but sadly that was the best part of the meal.

We ordered steak delmonico, another steak meal and grilled chicken with salad and creamy risotto. The Delmonico steak meal was ok. The other steak meal (I believe it was a ribeye) was fair and while my salad was ok, the risotto was cream mixed with so huge an amount of butter that it was inedible. The grilled chicken I received was really... salmon?? When I was finally able to flag down our waitress she checked and found the kitchen had made salmon for some reason, not chicken. A refire of my chicken took nearly the rest of the meal and when it arrived it was about 1/4 inch thick, flattened, dry and charred so badly it was inedible and unable to be cut with a knife.

I made the mistake of ordering french onion soup as a to go for my husband and when we returned home we found it was chili?! Returned to the restaurant, no apology, no "sorry we made a mistake". Upon returning home the french onion soup was cold, the cheese appeared to be fresh out of the refrigerator and was cold, still in the shape of deli cheese (not melted at all) and the soup itself was old (at least yesterdays or the day before) and inedible.

Nearly $200 (including tip) of my daughters hard earned pay was spent here. Needless to say my family and friends will not be returning. The food is very overpriced, our waitstaff was extremely slow (and I was a waitress, so I give them much understanding, especially if they are busy. There were only about 10-15 people while we were there, if that!!) and the food for the most part was inedible...

The atmosphere couldn't decide if it wanted to be Americana or Italian countryside. Either way, it has a strong feel of where the older crowd dine. Arriving in September meant being overwhelmed by cliche seasonal scents at the door. The bar staff seemed to be very preoccupied with serving customers not in the restaurant...I suspect a wedding or other group in the adjacent tent space. The beer I ordered, which I have had in bottle many times, tasted sour and somewhat flat. When I could catch the eye of my server, the service was quick, but it did take a while to order. On the food: I enjoyed my dish, but it did not showcase the ingredients. Ordering a seafood dish, ideally, the flavor of that seafood should play more than a minor role in the dish's profile. Calamari served with two lemon wedges show that the chef is aware, but drizzling the dish in sweet chili sauce robs the customer of that choice or flavor experience. The breading and fry were very good, and there was not a hint of rubberiness to the Calamari. The rest of the menu feels very safe for aforementioned older folks, but not refined or overly adventurous. I was tempted by some of the specials, but the promise of a dish sized for more than one was a turn off. Some interior design tweaks, and letting the feature ingredients lead the flavor profiles would go a long way in making Stone Ridge Grill & Bar a place to return to, but for now, I will...

Our family recently placed an order and was extremely disappointed with both the food quality and the service. I ordered a $20 salad, which arrived wilted, with old pieces, and even had a fly in it—completely unacceptable. When I called to inform them, they offered to replace the salad, but after seeing a fly in my food, why would I want another one?

Additionally, I ordered $30 nachos, which were supposed to include diced tomatoes, jalapeño peppers, shredded lettuce, black olives, and onions, but what I received was nothing more than steak and cheese on chips—completely missing the listed toppings stated on the menu ( screenshot provided). On top of that, I was charged an extra $14 for “beef”, which made the already overpriced meal even more unreasonable because it was burnt and almost not edible.

After a second unexpected call back, I was again offered another salad, but at this point I was all set and already home making dinner (that I planned not to do) since we were unable to eat what we ordered. We won’t be back and I also wish I read the other reviews prior to ordering myself and I most likely would have avoided this from the start.

(Sorry about the messy receipt, had to obtain...

I used to love this place been coming here for the past 2 years since I moved close by in mansfield. First we ordered drinks 3 drinks 2 of which were good and my husband's drink though he ordered a black berry margarita which tasted like rasberry was told pretty much too bad they would not replace it because they were not allowed to replace a drink and I would be charged for 2. Then we ordered 2 apps one fried mottzerella and the other on special for the week was the street corn only 2 small portions were served for 3 people. And the size of the corn pieces were disgraceful. Then we ordered our meals which I seriously considered going to a new resturant for dinner because of how unsatisfied I was with the drink issue and the apps. Two orders of country fried chicken were good only complaint was not enough gravy I asked for more was charged 3 dollars for it.Then to my husband's meal he got the lemon pepper chicken with mac and cheese and seasonal vegetables the chicken that he was served for 31 dollars is wild it was two small overcooked pieces of chicken that was so thin it could have been paper. I will never come back to the place I used to love.
