I made a last minute appointment at Glammed Salon in July. I was a blonde client who wanted a root touch up for my birthday, because I was about to go on vacation. I got a young inexperienced girl, who was straight out of Tri County High School. This young women bleached my (already blonde) hair for 30 minutes under HEAT. Then she proceeded to add a smudge root. My hair was so dry and porous that the brown hair dye was absorbed completely from root to end. SO my once blonde hair was brass brown. As she started blow drying my hair, I watch clumps of it fall out. I rubbed my hair between my finger gently and it nearly disintegrated. I didn’t allow her to finish, I left the salon with wet hair CRYING. I originally removed this review because the Salon owner reached out to me immediately to fix things. However, since the appointment I have chopped half my hair off, applied oils to it daily and am taking hair growth supplements to TRY to get my hair and self confidence back. Today was my first time at Glammed Salon & it was nothing short of spectacular. Shauna was not only professional but friendly & truly listened to my concerns about highlighting my hair & the troubles I have had at other salons. She made no judgment on any other business but just listened to what I was looking for. We've lived in Mansfield almost 3 years, & Shauna was the only one who hit it right with the soft golden highlights I was looking for. Though I had recently had a haircut elsewhere, she tweaked my side bangs perfectly & they look better than ever. I already scheduled my next appt. and I'm simply thrilled to have found such a lovely, friendly little spot so close to where I live. Had such a GREAT experience at Glammed Salon with Allie! My first visit with her I was going in to cut off 14” to donate to a good cause. She did an amazing job cutting and styling my new short hair into something that I still absolutely love. 😍 she thoroughly checks her work and will not let you leave unhappy! During my next visit, she did a full foil to give me a little bit of a change with my color. It has been years since I have colored my hair and I wanted something a little more on the subtle side to start. She did a really nice job giving me some copper tone highlights in my brown hair. I have received so many compliments on both my cut and color. I am so glad I took a chance going to Glammed Salon and meeting Allie!
