Let me tell y’all a little story.
As a young man, I worshipped Jake From State Farm. He was my everything. He was cool, he had that clean smile, and he helped people find affordable rates on their insurance. What’s not to love? Life was good. Until one day…
I remember it clearly. I was sitting on my couch watching some football (the bills of course) when Jake’s familiar face graced the screen. I was filled with joy! My hero right there in my living room! Until I saw it. Right next to him was none other than Patrick Mahomes. My life’s (and all bills fans really) greatest frustration. And Jake was just sitting there, just smiling. I couldn’t believe it. He was just okay with it. On top of that he even looked like he was enjoying himself. I couldn’t believe it. My heart was broken.
Flash forward to today! Me and my thirsty buddies were all chilling and decided to head to Dutch Bros (always a classic) to quench our thirst. By this point Jake was nothing but a distant painful memory. I had grown used to not having his heroic influence in my life, but I could still feel that void in my soul. But that was all about to change. We pull into to the drive through and as we prepare to order there he was. Jacqson. My man. My new hero. Right there. He was better than Jake ever was. He had that commanding Broista attitude, a smile that put mr clean to shame, and helped us to customize our drinks so we only paid for what we needed.
As we pulled away, me and my crew took one last gander at our newfound hero Jacqson. I wasn’t whole yet but as my blue raspberry lemonade with strawberry boba (10/10) started to fill up my belly, I felt that void in my soul begin to fill as well. My hero is no longer Jake From State Farm, it’s Jacqson From Dutch...
Read moreWe went through the driveway today and apparently, we came at an inconvenient time. The guy who took our order received a 20% tip, and didn't think to say "thank you" or even "have a good day". I was under the impression that tips were optional to the consumer, and appreciated by the service member. But no worries, that just saves money for all of your customers! I'll be sure not to tip yall. It got better at the window. The two girls at the front carried on a highschool level gossip session the entire time we were there, with the window open, handed us the drinks and says "Straws". After I realized this was a question on if we WANTED straws, we said yes please. She handed them to us without even looking at us and carried on her conversation. Then as she started to walk away from me, I loudly told everyone to have a great day, and she looked at me and turned away without a smile or a simple "you too". If this place has a manager, they need to replace him/her with one who knows how to manage. And if you don't have a staff manager, it shows. So, if you've read this far, maybe get your coffee elsewhere. Otherwise, remember not to tip! They don't...
Read moreI decided to try dutch bros coffee after finding out that this is one of the very few drive thru coffee places other than starbucks in my area. I was sick and tired of starbucks, and I tried searching drive thru coffee locations similar to 7 brew in my area since the 7 brew coffee chain is only available in select areas. I first heard about 7 brew from my friend who is originally from Arkansas, and 7 brew is specifically an Arkansas specialty. I got dutch bros coffee as a result of my searches, and found out that there was a location near me, and so I decided to go try it. There are so many options to chose from that you never get bored, and sometimes it can actually be overwhelming. I like to switch things up a bit each time I go. This time around I decided to get my sister something, but she says that it's just ok, the coffee is just like any other coffee place. I'll be coming back here over and over again, except that the prices are a little high due to inflation. Other than that, This drive thru coffee...
