Generally, Jason's is a good place to go as a staple of quality and consistency. This location suffers from a number of issues.
One, the snafu that is Central Expressway and our culture of constant construction make this place an out-of-the-way destination to all but those who live west of the highway. Two, quality has been sliding. I used to be able to depend on the flavorful meats employed in creating their sandwiches. In this regard, they have slid to a lackluster slightly above average. I feel like I craft my own sandwiches better with Hillshire Farms' assistance. Smaller, non-chain Delis decimate Jason's in this area. Third, staff and patrons alike do not know what a line is. Upon entering the store, one stands in a pool of hungry patrons all pushing to get to the front of any register. The staff looks on helplessly (or perhaps cluelessly) taking whoever is rudest and pushiest.

We got there and the staff was very nice and helpful. Gotta love that ice cream machine and my stacking skills.
The reason I am giving 3 stars instead of higher is the time it took to get our food. We ordered our food first and then a few minutes later my Mother-in-law did. She got her food pretty quickly, but it took over 10 minutes to get our food. She was nearly done by the time we got ours. I looked around and people who ordered afterwards got theirs before ours. We didn’t order anything complicated, just a sandwich. Just confused at this. The ingredients we very fresh and the sandwiched tasted awesome, especially since they changed the bread.

Read moreWent for lunch & decided to stop in for sandwiches. We sat at one of the booths near the wall. After we finished eating, we sat talking for a bit. As I look over, there is a cockroach crawling towards me on the table. I was completely grossed out, I slowly got up from the table & my mom went to tell the person at the counter. The lady came over to do what she could & said she would tell the manager. We ended up moving to a regular table so we could finish up & not once did a manager or supervisor come to extend an apology or anything of the sort. I didn't ask for compensation or reimbursement of my meal, I simply wanted to make the restaurant aware of the insect problem.
