Very bad. The restaurant says 10 pm closing. We drove 30 minutes to arrive at 9 and they say we are closed. In today's times digital world is at its peak and this restaurant is sleeping on the doors of the internet era. Sad they have no respect for others' time.
The next day we came in for the food.
We asked the server for her suggestion and ordered quantities based on her suggestion. When the food arrived it was too less for us all plus I don't eat noodles.
When I requested more rice I was told that you take it or leave it's your choice, no noodles means you have to live with this quantity of rice. Even though we bought an extra bowl of rice at the start.
This place is all about the live cooking experience whereas the chef assigned to us was a useless guy who just came there to cook and go. All other tables were having laughs and interactions with the chef but ours was like deaf and dumb who came just to cook. He was also not fit for a hospitality job. When it came to shrimps which were fewer and counted, he started giving as 1 for you and 2 for you... It's the hospitality industry - if it's less you should put it on a plate and say family shares, and not humiliate your customer by counting his shrimps.
Another thing in front of all other guests he said You guys are cheap. Now with all the ordering dilemma - talking to your server or manager was a better choice who would come in and manage the situation rather he started to call us cheap.
"You guys are cheap to order this many dishes for that number of ppl." Who is he to call me cheap especially when I am a customer and paying for my food. I am not on charity or eating his food for free to treat me like that. No one gave him the right to talk to me like that.
No matter taste was good but I, absolutely don't agree with the serving policy of the restaurant.
He first cooked rice and served, then noodles and served and then vegetables, and then protein 1 by 1, and served as cooked. This way when the protein came on the table the rice and noodles were as cold as ice.
Mind you that this is not the first time I have gone to a Hibachi or Teppanyaki before.
Also what they serve is Teppanyaki and not Hibachi.
As per Google search below...
Teppanyaki is a Japanese style of cooking where food is prepared on a large iron griddle, often in front of diners, with a focus on both culinary skill and entertainment. It's commonly mistaken for hibachi, but teppanyaki utilizes a flat iron plate, while hibachi refers to a smaller, portable grill.
Ours was none.

Read moreThis used to be one of our favorite spots for sushi ( not hibachi, we tried it once and it was terrible compared to other Hibachi restaurants). Last night was the 4th time we’ve come in the last couple months where the service and food were really, really bad. The last time, which was 3 weeks ago, we left because it was FREEZING in the dining area, I’m not exaggerating, people were getting up before ordering to leave and commenting how unbearable the cold was before we did. When we told the hostess how freezing cold the dining room was , she blankly stared at us so we said “It’s ok, we will go somewhere else.” It was 30 degrees outside and felt just as cold in their dining room! Last night, we waited at the front for at least 10 minutes while the bar tender looked at us several times and ignored us. It wasn’t busy, we were the only people waiting. After we sat in yet again, COLD dining room, it took another 10-15 min before anyone came up to us. We then waited forever for our drinks. Our lukewarm Miso soup came out and didn’t taste fresh at all. Then they brought ALL our sushi out at once and the appetizer mid way through. It was obvious he forgot the appetizer. The edamame was cold, stiff and stale. Even the garlic chili oil tasted dry and gross. The sushi which is usually fresh tasted old and I was hoping we wouldn’t get sick. They usually ask if we want the Ahi Tower to be mixed and he didn’t. It was so rushed and he was running around because he was the only server. Sad to say that we decided last night it will be our last time. We’ve given them so many chances and they make it really obvious that they really don’t care anymore. It used to be great, not sure if it’s under new management or why they went downhill. My husband commented that their prices are high and their service and food quality aren’t matching what they’re charging. Rather go back to Sushi Sake or Masami, both authentic Japanese and the same price points but much better service and food is always fresh. Wanted to mention, the sever was nice he was just...
Read moreThey offer bar area, regular seating as well as hibachi. For appetizers we had Ahi (tuna)tower, coconut shrimp, crab Rangoon. The taste was on point and very well presented. Coconut shrimp were crispy, and had a nice crunch when you bite into it. Squeeze fresh lemon and enjoy with the dipping sauce. Loved the crab Rangoon, perfectly cooked to the flame perfection. The cheese and crab inside was nicely seasoned and soft and gooey, just the way it is supposed to. Ahi Tower, nice generous position to share, loved the touch of Fran sprouts and tobiko on top. We ordered from combo menu, which I belive is worth the experience. Steak and shrimp with fried rice, comes with noodles, veggies, soup and salad. Also ordered, steak and salmon, salmon and lobster. Onion soup was light and refreshing, salad was crisp and fresh. The hibachi chef was skilled, did his thing, very lively and engaging. We had a fun time. He prepared the fried rice, and noodles, had the veggies on saute white prepared the medium rare steak, shrimp, salmon and lobster. You can always request the level of cooking temperature and seasoning or spice level to your taste. Steak was really tender and juicy, shrimp were cooked perfectly, salmon was seasoned to a perfect balance with fresh lemon squeezed on top. Lobster was really buttery as it melts in your mouth. You have to let your Hibachi Chef know how you like your food to be cooked, otherwise they will do what is just standard for the industry. I like my shrimp just pink not over cooked, salmon flakey and jucy, not dry. So don't be shy and communicate with chefs, they are there for you to have a great experience. Celebrated the birthday and anniversary, the servers brought the tempura fried ice-cream, with candle on top, sang happy birthday with drumbeat. All in all had a great time, great experience and...
