Aroma Breakfast and Lunch — Restaurant in Plano

We were so excited to try and support a new family owned business today. We’ve been in the neighborhood more than 25 years. When we arrived for brunch around 10 am. They had a pretty full house but no wait. The remodel was beautiful and the chairs looked comfortable.

Nevertheless, we stood by the doors for more than 7 minutes with at least 3 of waitstaff staring and making eye contact from the back counter. Still no one greeted or acknowledged us.

Finally, a few minutes later we were sat. It’s been more than 10 minutes total and no water or coffee offered. We were given menus and never saw a server again.

Another two top came in after us, was sat and received drinks but still not us. No one had even walked by so that we could be like hey can we get some coffee. The table of four got up to leave and still no one came to the table. 17 minutes in I looked at my husband and said let’s go.

Love love loved the experience!! Warm and welcoming with a comfy enegry to it. Vibes were vibing. We ordered pretty quick. My husband and I both ordered a omelet each. I ordered the meat lovers with sides of hummus and pita bread. My husband chose the buffalo chicken, his sides were potato's and toast. Portions size were great. First off about the omelets, husbunds omelet was beautiful, very catching to the eye, it had buffalo and ranch (option of Blu cheese) sauces drizzled separately on top. Inside it had breaded chicken in buffalo sauce with melted cheese and the potato's were toasted to perfection too, SO GOOD! If I could give this establishment an 11/10 on here, I would! This place is wonderful. My brother and I were seated very quickly, orders taken quickly, and the food brought out in good time as well. The customer service was top tier as we were taken care of every step of the way and checked on regularly. I ordered the Philly cheesesteak omelette, which came with the hash browns and toasted and my brother ordered the fajita chicken omelette with the berry pancakes. All the items were amazing, and felt like they had a “home” cooked flavor. If you’re looking for a sign to visit, this is it! I will absolutely be a regular here as often as my wallet allows.
