This place is great! We came the day after their grand opening, so the line was very long, but they still brought out our drinks very quickly. The manager welcomed us in and informed us of the possible wait times, but we were happy to with how fast the line was moving. Our cashier, Raiana, was very friendly and explained the differences between the drinks for us which we really appreciated. The atmosphere here is very satisfying, the whole place has a very bright and airy feeling. The inside has upbeat music playing and plenty of two person tables, as well as some larger group tables. The outside has plenty of picnic tables and couches under a covered awning, so it’s a great place to enjoy your drinks when the weather is nice. In terms of the drinks, we tried 4 different drinks. The La La Matcha Latte was amazing!! It had the perfect balance of sweetness. It was so creamy and overall well balanced that I could taste the vanilla in combination to the matcha! The Vanilla Latte was great, the coffee was strong but didn’t overpower the subtle vanilla flavors. The lemonade was very strong, I waited til some of the ice melted to drink it and was pleased with how refreshing the drink was. The peach lemonade was my personal favorite, it wasn’t overly sweet and had notes of black tea, which I loved (although wasn’t listed in the drink description). La La Land gets their baked goods from the bakery, La Casita on West Arapaho Road- so all the baked goods are worth trying. We loved the Ham and Cheese Croissant, but we ate it so quickly I didn’t have time to get a picture šŸ˜‚! Our only minor problem was the first time I ordered my Peach Lemonade, they brought out a regular lemonade instead. The barista, Erin, was very understanding and apologized for the mistake, remaking my drink very quickly . Overall, the prices here are a little steep (especially for the food) but I think the quality of the products, staff, and atmosphere make it completely worth it. I will definitely be coming back here.

FOOD INSTAGRAM: northtx.gemz •••• šŸ’ WHAT THEY’RE KNOWN FOR: very pretty and airy inside. I was really admiring the interior design there were lots of chic architectural designs at this location. šŸ’ THE VIBE: you already know what the vibe is 🤣 they say love you instead of thank you which tbh I could do without bc I think it’s a bit weird when you force an employee to do that all day. I don’t know if it was because this location was opening up around Valentine’s Day? šŸ’ PRICE: ~$18 šŸ’ WOULD I COME BACK? Yes! I have already plenty of times before. •••• Overall Rating: 9.5/10 - The grand opening of the new La La Land in Plano happened about last month and I came to their soft opening and wow it was packed! It took me 35-40 minutes to get my order and drink/food BUT I’m not complaining just stating how busy they already were. - If you haven’t had La La Land you’re missing out! Their matcha has to be one of my favorites because they really know how to balance the flavors, mix it properly, and just have so many good combinations! - I’ve had their coffee once which was also perfectly sweet and flavored but their matcha is my go to! - Their avocado toasts can be pricy but honestly this thing was bigger than my hand so it’s worth the money because you’ll be full for sure. - I’m a fan of their butterfly pea line so I usually get their butterfly pea matcha BUT this time I got this match and tbh I drank it so quickly bc it was that good! Highly recommend. - I don’t know if I’d study here again because it was pretty loud and I tried to study like two times before at a Dallas location and it was just too busy and distracting lol idk why I keep trying here. I would definitely choose this place as a sit and talk place.

New review: came back here to try the matcha strawberries and the service is still horrible. She got my name extremely wrong. She didn’t ask if I wanted whip cream with my strawberries and I didn’t know that was an option until later. This location disappoints each time. Old review: As someone who has social anxiety, this was a tough experience for me. I ordered a classic avocado toast, matcha lemonade, and a cucumber salad. I sat down and set up my laptop etc… the avocado toast and cucumber salad were done in no time, I stood up to grab them and didn’t see my drink so I just assumed it would take a little longer. It starts getting busy, people are going in and out. My drink/name still hasn’t been called. I finished my avocado toast, pack my bags, and my anxiety is just building up because I’m too scared to ask them about my drink. I almost left, but I wanted my moneys worth. Once it got a little less busy, I put my big boy boots on and ask if my drink is in the ā€œpickupā€ pile. Nope. I showed the worker my receipt, got my drink, and left. This was a span of one hour 7:22am to 8:22am. Besides me shaking in my boots the entire time, the avocado toast was 10/10! Good amount of pepper flakes, lemon(?), and avocado. Matcha lemonade tastes like lemonade. Have yet to try the cucumber salad

Wheewwww child, whoever manages this location needs to go through training or get baptized or something. Spent 20 minutes in line with four other people and didn’t understand what was happening until I got to the counter and ordered an iced cold brew. I don’t think the girl at the register had ever seen a register before or used a POS system. She and her two friends trying to help her also didn’t know what to suggest instead of cold brew, because apparently they’re out of that at 11am? One girl said an Americana would be closest, which is fundamentally incorrect.

I then ordered an iced matcha latte with oat milk, and that was another five minutes of swiping through POS menu trying to figure things out. Turns out she put in the wrong drink and I got a traditional matcha, so when I went up to ask for the right thing, I got attitude and was told ā€œthe ticket says traditional matcha, that’s not a latte.ā€ Yes, sweet girl, thank you. I’m aware your friend put the order in wrong. Can you fix it?

Then I take it outside and set it on a table that was so wobbly it just tipped over and spilled. I turned around and saw another patio table was already snapped in half and just lying on the ground. I then tried to get on a zoom call and couldn’t because the WiFi is so bad it couldn’t hold a connection, inside or outside.

I’ve never had a bad experience at a La La Land location until now, but there’s no world where I’ll be coming back to the...
