Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Plano

2nd delivery order in a row they have "forgotten" items. First time it happened, maybe 2-3 weeks ago, I ordered 4 garlic butter sauces in addition to 2 pizzas and 10 breadsticks. I received 6 marinara sauces. Called up and got it handled pretty easily, sauces were dropped off as quickly as they could. No problem.

This time I ordered a dinner box (2 pizzas, breadsticks and wings) an extra order of breadsticks and 4 garlic butter sauces. I immediately noticed the breadsticks missing and was able to catch the delivery guy before he left. He says "not my fault, not my fault." Okay, but I didn't say it was anyone's fault. Breadsticks are missing and I'd like to have them. He tells me to call the store and offers no other help whatsoever. I call the store, the man who answered was not friendly and it seemed like my missing item was a burden on him. He finally agreed to get more delivered (they're always trying to just give me a credit. I want my food, not an imaginary credit towards the next order you're going to screw up) but it'll take 40 minutes!! They were finally delivered as I'm typing this, by the same guy who delivered the first time, and he sped out of my neighborhood at a ridiculous speed. You can bet I will be contacting corporate.

This doesn't even include the issues I had with the app trying to order. It was "oops something went wrong" as I was getting notified with my pizza tracker. It took 15 tries to get it to go through! I imagine there are some extra charges on my card I'll be dealing with in the morning. Not happy one bit...

I placed an order using a deal on pizza hut’s app. It it for a 3 topping large pizza and breadsticks. I upgraded to stuffed crust and cheese sticks. The total with tip was $27.88. When the driver arrived he told me that I was charged less than I was supposed to be and my total was actually almost $35. He wanted me to give him cash for the rest of the total which I didn’t have (hence why I paid with card). He told me that the deal doesn’t work with stuffed crust and it would nullify the deal… but the page for the deal literally says otherwise. He told me he would just give it to me but that HE would have to pay for it… what?!

The driver said they called before but I had no missed calls and the fact that instead of cancelling the order or accepting the agreed to price, they tried to charge me more and in cash at the door is unbelievable. I made an agreement with pizza hut to pay a certain cost for items I ordered… this whole thing is ridiculous. The driver shouldn’t be made to pay the cost either, this is on pizza hut and their app!

After he left, I went straight on the app to put all the stuff in the checkout again to prove the price it showed me. It was the exact same. I took screenshots of everything. I am attaching them to this review.

I will be calling pizza hut about this experience tomorrow. Pizza hut showed me a price, I paid it… only pizza hut should be responsible for any mistake in their app, not myself or the driver.

Lastly, I will say this particular pizza hut has always had good and fresh pizza… but this...

DIRTY. NO GLOVES. ERRORS ON ORDERS. Been going to this location once every 6 or 7 years just to see if anything gets better. I'll keep driving to ANY other location than this one. Every time I try here, something is wrong. Pizza isn't how I ordered online, pizza is late or I just get a creepy, unclean feeling. Today's experience was the latter. Pizza was done when I arrived early, which was really cool of course. However it had extra cheese on it instead of light cheese as requested. The gentleman was very polite and offered to remake it but apart from the annoyance of having to wait, I was also unhappy to see that he went from talking on the phone for a few minutes when I arrived, to ringing me out on the cash register, and then back to the kitchen where I was able to personally watch him remake the pizza. Thankfully, he used a cup to measure and sprinkle the cheese on but he used his bare hands to artfully arrange the green peppers. There was another worker in the kitchen as well and she was also not wearing gloves while working with the food. He did not put gloves on nor wash his hands from leaving the front counter to then making my food. I get that the oven is super hot and I did eat the pizza, but it'll be another 6 or 7 years before I try this location...
