RockStar Hibachi - Food Truck — Restaurant in Plano

My partner and I live nearby, so we figured to try this place out. Pretty odd location for a hibachi food truck, but the food is fantastic! The flavor was amazing and ingredients are high quality. The only critique I have is the fried rice in our chicken teriyaki was room temperature. We only live about 5 minutes away, so it was definitely that temp before we left the truck. That said, we clearly visited during a slow period for them. A quick minute in the microwave did the trick. The chicken and veggies were fresh and hot, though. If you're in the area, definitely give this place a shot!

I was visiting the area for a conference and wanted to take hibachi to the hotel. A Google search and Rockstar popped up nearby. I ordered the Teriyaki beef with fried rice, vegetables, and Yakisoba noodles, and everything hit the spot. The beef was tender and flavorful, with just the right amount of teriyaki sauce—not too sweet or overpowering. The fried rice was perfectly cooked, and the veggies still had a nice crunch, which I appreciated.

The Yakisoba noodles were great—savory, slightly smoky, and nicely balanced. Portions were generous, and everything came out hot and fresh and still was delicious after a 20min trek back to the hotel.

It’s not flashy or overdone, just solid hibachi...

Absolutely blown away by RockStar Hibachi! I’ve always loved hibachi food, but honestly, the prices at most places have kept me from enjoying it as often as I’d like. That all changed when I found this spot. My fried rice was amazing, it was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The portions were generous, and the price was surprisingly affordable for the quality you get. I also recommend you try their sauces, Alan helped me choose some based on my flavor preferences and made it perfectly.

I feel like I’ve finally found my new go-to hibachi place! If you’re craving top-notch hibachi without breaking the bank, you have to give RockStar Hibachi a try....
