EDIT: Popeye's fired all the old staff and have new employees and the location got a makeover, so far service was terrific and food way better as well, i went to drive thru recently and my food was ready within a few minutes, almost as fast as Chick-Fil-A. I will hold my ratings until i go to dine-in for bettter judgement. But overall the place has received a huge improvement, they may be worth receiving a visit.
Below is the original post, dated over two years ago.👇👇👇👇
I love Popeye's, but I hate this location. The only way to save this place is to REPLACE THEIR ENTIRE STAFF. They hire the worst workers they can, 3 times ( in two years) I have come to this place because I live a few blocks away, and things are not better. They keep dine-in closed, out of pure laziness, so they don't have to clean the place often. But there is a pattern, as many Popeye's locations have very bad service, this place takes the cake though. It doesn't matter how bad you're craving Popeye's, you will regret it very quickly.
The first time I visited was drive-thru, had 3-4 cars ahead of me, took about 30 minutes to get the food, second time I went in, food was way overcooked, hard to chew. Third time was after restrictions were lifted, things weren't any better, I haven't go there ever since. When I really want Popeye's, I go to locations where rich people visit, these are the places where workers are efficient. So sad how they are ruining...
Read moreIf I could give less than 1 star I would . Me and my man ordered for online pickup 2 box orders while In the parking lot and went to drive thru immediately after placing it there was nobody in line but we waited for them to even acknowledge us at the window … then we get home and the fries are completely old and stale and the biscuits were old and stale we also wanted spicy dark meat and received white meat which we do not eat . We called in so it can be credited back or fixed the lady argued with us that we ordered it incorrectly but on the app there is no options to even change the meat regardless the fries and biscuits were still stale she was not trying to fix it on their end so we ended up hanging up. So that lead me to write this review. I am a local faceless food reviewer on TikTok and Instagram but I was just wanting a bite to eat since I just moved in this area and been unpacking all day. Now I will be letting people know to NOT go to this location and if they do they better check it. Unbelievable service not in a good way. Never have I been denied a remake when the restaurant messed up. It’s not about the money or anything but just making sure the customer is happy with what they paid for. Basic...
Read moreOkay, I had to go back and remove my previous review because it was really mean and an overreaction to a poor experience. In fairness, when I finally did get my food, it was delicious. Possibly some of the best Popeyes Chicken I've ever had. A couple of fair warnings to other potential chicken-and-biscuits lovers: be fully prepared for spotty service if you're going there within 45 minutes of their closing time. And at that late hour, be prepared for wandering talkative hobos. And if you're sitting at the drive-thru hearing radio silence, it might possibly be because someone turned their headset off and forgot about it. 🙂 Popeyes, I still don't take back my suggestion of opening up some stores in the Chick-fil-A neighborhoods (you know what I mean). It would just be a good business move to provide a safe and comfortable space for those customers who tend to get harassed by homeless people the most (again, you know what I mean. When you (finally) restock your sandwiches, you'll be making a killing off of a whole new customer base. I love...
