Applebee's Grill + Bar — Restaurant in Plant City

I am new to the area. I've been to this particular Applebee's two times. The first time my roommate and I ordered our food ,and it was tasty. The service was lousy. The young lady that's behind the bar ignored us. She hardly made eye contact with us, and the restaurant/ bar wasn't busy. The second time we went We ended up leaving. We walked in during Latin night. The music was good and so was the crowd. We found a spot at the bar sat down.I got up to go to the bathroom when I came back the bar was cleared out. My roommate ordered a soda I ordered a lemonade and a drink for happy hour. We then ordered our food. My roommate ordered queso with beef and I ordered a simple Wonton Tacos we also got a chicken quesadilla. My roommate specified that whenever the food comes up you can bring it out it doesn't have to be brought out at the same time. About a half hour into after placing our order. Another barmaid came out with an order of Nacho Supreme and told us that the kitchen made a mistake instead of queso they made Nacho Supreme. Wow big mistake from queso with beef. She Tried pushing it on us we said no we sat there for another 30 minutes with no food. The bartender that originally took the order did not come back by us and see if we needed something to drink did not even make eye contact with us again. A couple came in and sat down next to us they had their food before we did, and they ordered similar to ours.We sat there for over an hour waiting for three appetizers. So we left and we won't be returning. There was a total of 6 people sitting at the bar. My suggestion is hire bartenders that stay attentive to their patrons.Two times, same lousy bartender same lousy service. Worst food at any Apple I’ve ever been too. Service was kinda okay, but waiter did not seem to care when I told her about how our food came out. We spend almost 100.00. Me and the both ordered chicken and the chicken wasn’t cooked all the way, you can’t eat a medium rare chicken lol my kids pasta and mine was not cooked either. You all know how nasty it is to eat not cooked all the way noddles lol the mozzarella sticks where also not cooked inside. The chips the brought out for the Spanish artichoke dip where stale and old tasting. Literally the only thing my wife was able to eat was her rice and that was it lol shoot a good waiter would had asked if our food was okay cause we did not eat it at all. Also when I told her about the food. She did not seem to care at all, just brushed it off. No manager was called to us or ever came around our table to ask like they normally would ask in other apple bees. And not place wasn’t even that busy for any of this to happen. Is expected kinda in a busy place and short staffed. Extremely disappointed truly. Would never come back here with my family again. Very sad cause this location is the closes one to us. Sorry for the bad review but in had too. It truly was awful 😢 the picture is time stamped on what time and date we went. So maybe they have a talked with there manager or cook. Can't comment on the quality or quantity of the food at this establishment as our order was "lost" and we did not get any. We arrived shortly after 12 noon and we seated in the high top section attended by the bartender. A few patrons were scattered throughout the restaurant with one couple sitting at the bar. The bartender/waitress arrived to take our order after about 10- to 15 minutes and apologized for the delay. We gave our order, which included an appetizer and two entrees. She brought our drinks: a water and a lemonade. Then we waited...and waited. Other customers came in after we placed our order. One additional patron was seated at the bar. However, when we saw these customers being served meals about 30 min later, I called our waitress over to find out about our order. The waitress had not checked on us during all this time and I had to call loudly two or three times to her to get her attention as she busied herself about other things. We were clearly not on her radar at all. The waitress said that she would check on our order. She returned a few minutes later to inform us that our order had been "lost" and began trying to remember what we ordered. We declined her feeble attempt at "service" and walked out. We then went to Carrabba's and had an enjoyable meal.
