Hampton Inn Plant City — Hotel in Plant City

Hello, I am an influencer & social media maven by the name of MadisonTheeDoll and on November 20th 2023 my window was burst on my car by the security guard, patrolling your hotel at the location that I will pin at the end of this message. The authorities were called and I did file a formal police report that I do plan to follow up on! Unfortunately, this location does not have any cameras so I do not have any proof that it was him but I am 100% certain that it was him due to the fact that 30 minutes before I came back out side to the unfortunate demise of my window being burst The security guard and my boyfriend had gotten into an argument because the security guard assumed that my boyfriend was sleeping in the car in the parking lot which he was not! So a few words were exchanged, and we proceeded to enter the hotel following our exit 30 to 45 minutes later we stumbled upon the window being burst out in glass everywhere, as well as Items stolen out of the vehicle, and the security was nowhere to be found. He literally left the premises until notified by the very rude and disrespectful lady at the front desk who worked last night, he then returned to the hotel, very hostile, and completely denied everything! I am asking for the immediate termination of this security guard, who not only is suspected of breaking into my car because he cannot control his anger issues, but also for leaving the grounds that he is supposed to be patrolling! In addition to that, I would like to be reimbursed for the incidentals in damages, caused to my vehicle on behalf of the security guard at your hotel! This is a matter that needs to be rectified immediately, and I would like to not take it to social media where I have a massive following, which could actually speed the process up but I would like to dissolve it...

The rooms are clean and spacious. The hotel lobby and halls are well-lit. Fluffy linens; plenty of room to walk around in the unit, and there's a large TV. The staff was VERY friendly, welcoming and accommodating. The morning breakfast is what you would expect at a Hampton Inn. All that was good. My issues with the hotel are two-fold; one they can control and one they should have thought about sooner but may be out of control now. Controllable: there are NOT enough outlets in the room. They block off the nightstand outlets .. literally ... wood block and you have to completely disconnect the nightstand that is hooked onto the wall to get to an outlet. There's ONE outlet on the desk so forget charging more than one thing .. or bring your own surge protector. Com'on guys, if you need more than one at your own home, why don't you think your customers would too. The "too late" issue is noise. The third and four floors of the hotel are ground level with the interstate about 100 yards away. Every semi and motorcycle will interrupt your sleep unless you have ear plugs. I travel with a sound machine (white noise) but it's not enough. The interstate was there first, so why did you not think you needed more soundproofing? I'm satisfied with my visit and would stay again, but I would be on the opposite side of the interstate and I would bring a power...

This hotel is as nice as they come! Very clean, beds are amazingly comfortable!! Price is a little higher but you do see the value in how nicely run this hotel is. It proudly wears the Hilton name after Hampton Inn. Best parts? Microwave and fridge in room!!! So appreciative many hotels don't have these anymore. Nice flat LG TV. AC is thermostat controlled and very accurate. Breakfast was AMAZING!!! Maple sausage, hot oatmeal with packaged brown sugar, delicious scrambled eggs, perfect waffles that are hand made by staff, and delicious juice! Staff was so warm and friendly as well. One of the best free breakfasts I've had in a hotel, EVER!! I have only 2 minor complaints. 1 no ice on first floor. Had to take an elevator up just to get ice. And 2, this one kind of ridiculous, the wifi is not free. The "free" wifi is only, as they say, to check email. Streaming constantly freezes and if you want decent internet to play a show on a tablet or computer they make you pay extra. I think it's kind of silly in 2022 to make customers pay for wifi in a hotel but wasnt a big deal. Other than that this hotel is definitely 5 stars and I recommend this location highly to everyone coming through the area. Its conveniently right next to Interstate 4 and the area is not that busy and plenty of food choices. This gets my seal of approval!! 2 thumbs...
