This is my first and last time ordering from this restaurant. I called to place a to go order. Like all restaurants usually the receptionist speaks both English and Spanish. I proceeded. To ask if they served shrimp cocktails and she replied the only thing I know is "camarones a la diabla". I said OK ill take that. I asked if they sold Jarritos and she didn't know what I was talking about. I tried to order in both English and Spanish but didn't know what I was saying. Passed it to someone else. The next. Person took the order asap. I went with the girls recommended dish the camarones a la diabla, beans and rice. Corn Tortillas. I bout a couple Jarritos. I went to pick it up they put the cold drinks in same bag with the hot food. I asked for corn and got flour Tortillas. To be honest the camarones a la Diabla came with out the diabla. They were in a mild sauce resembling paprika and water mix. They are supposed to be spicy hot and flavorful. Hence the Diabla in the name. Definitely will not be coming back and do not recommend this place. See. Picture below or above. Sauce should be red and beautiful with the site of some heat.

Being pretty generous, I gave it 2 stars because it didn't make me sick. What inspired me to write this review is that they randomly threw an extra $2 ($21.04 total) when they charged my credit card. I travel for work so I keep careful records and know this isn't me being forgetful (I've even uploaded a picture of the receipt I duplicated for my records for kicks). But you may ask, "surely, a $5 tip isn't unreasonable?" Considering this was a take-out order... which they didn't even include flat-ware or napkins with (I was staying at a hotel, good thing they had spares)... you tell me if any tip at all was reasonable. But what about the food itself? If I didn't have the receipt, I honestly wouldn't have remembered what I ate... it was more bland and forgettable than I thought Mexican food could possibly be... and I spent 6 years in Kansas City. PS. The dish I had was on the menu as "Favoritos". HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH... oh boy. PPS. It's worth noting that almost every other review I've ever written is 5 stars... I really am easy to please.

The atmosphere of this restaurant is great. I love all the lively colors and the scenes of Mexico. I ordered the chicken fajitas and they were good. Could have been better but being so far from Mexico I have no complaints. (I have lived in Texas, AZ and CO, as well as spending my fair share of time in NM and old Mexico.) The wait staff was ready to fill my Coke whenever the cup runneth low, as well. Really, no complaints. May even return here before I head back to Colorado. Edit/Update: Came back in for one more meal before I head back to Colorado. Ordered the lunch time chimichanga because the waitress said the chili con queso was great. I am underwhelmed by this selection, and had this been my first experience here, it might have also been my last. Also, there was an unbussed table next to me when I arrived and a half hour later it was still not bussed.

Not one of my favorites, by far. The seating was quick. I had to ask two other waitresses if I was seated in an area where I could get service! Service was no less then 15 minutes away. That was just to get noticed! Finally I had a waitress come by and tell me that she would be with me shortly. Her opinion of shortly definitely varies from mine. Watching her go to the front entrance of the Restaurant and just standing there talking to another Waitress wasn't my idea of impressive! Finally she managed to wobble back to my Table and ask me if she could help me! I could only ask myself what her opinion of help was! Did it mean that she may have to exert herself a little and do something positive! Like ask me if I would like to have a Drink or have her take my Order! I will have to admit that her approach to me was very much an interruption in her life, let alone an intrusion! Actually, her response to me was, Do you need more time to decide what to order! I wanted to tell her that I thought 20 minutes was an adequate amount of time for me to have read 📚the Menu several times and decide on what I wanted to order! Not wanting to be arrogant to her, I did tell her that I felt that I already had an idea what I would like to order. I told her that I would like a Shredded Beef Chimichanga (Without) Guacamole! In due time she returned with my order and, Yep! I did get the Guacamole that I insisted that I did not want! I thanked her and asked for a refill of diet Coke. It was very obvious that she knew she would NOT get a Tip from me! As she departed the area. She said for me to "Enjoy "! Now that all of this has been said, I did leave her a 20% Tip! Just to reassure her that I had been there! Oh well, life goes on and then you Die! I would recommend the Restaurant! The Food was very good! The Waitress, on the other hand...

This was our second time eating at this restaurant and they are still slow and the service isn't any better. The first time we ate there it was their grand opening so we thought they were still working out the kinks. Then we tried it again tonight and it was even slower then the first time we waited 45 miuntes to get our food and their was only nine other tables being helped. I wanted to order off of the kids menu because my daughter doesn't eat alot and was told I couldn't because she was over 13. Then the waitress said we have a quesadilla plate that cost $10.00 and I said I don't want to pay $10.00 for a chesse quesadila and she said you want that is the price for the beef or chicken one. Then they made our food wrong and when we told the waitress she said well you seen me writing it down it;s the kitchen's fault. When what she should of said was I'm very sorry let me get my manager. Then when the bill came she charged me $10.00 after she told me it wasn't going to cost that much. When I asked her why she charged me $10.00 after she said it wasn't going to cost that much she said well that's what the computer rang up. After asking to speak with the manager he said he would take it off since she told me that but then turned around and charged me for an alcarte. I think the customer service needs a lot of work and the waitress need to be trained better on the menus. I also think the manager could of handled it better. I will not be returning back to this...

Picture this: you walk into the restaurant around 4PM. There are just a few people eating at the restaurant. You walk in with your family and wait to be seated. You see waitresses walk passed you. What appears to be the busboy and even someone that looks like they are the hostess. They all walk by you without acknowledging that you are standing there. After about 15 minutes you get tired of waiting and walk to a table and sit down. One of the staff looks up at you. “Can we just sit here?,” you say in your awkward standoff. That staff member then proceeds to pretend like he didn’t hear you so that you are someone else’s problem. Frustrated, you walk out of the restaurant, silently vowing to never return. Only to be called back in by a hungry wife.

Well that was my experience. Once we were seated we were basically warned by our waitress that she was getting ready to go home and that someone else would be taking over our table. We quickly ordered to make sure we would get our food.

The food came out quickly. This is one of the few places with chips and salsa in Plant City. The chips were good. The salsa was so-so. We got two Gordo burritos, a nachos appetizer and a kids bean and cheese burrito. Oh, and 4 sodas. The food was pretty Americanized. It was decent but definitely not craveable. The bill was $70bucks though! A little steep if you ask me. I probably would have given it three stars if we had been seated in a somewhat reasonable time or at least...
