We stayed here for one night as it was half way between Orlando airport and our final destination (and we didn't want to drive the whole way after a long flight)||The hotel is very easy to find. The satnav took us to it easily and you can see the hotel from the road as you drive into the Wawa complex.||Check in was very quick and efficient, and the woman who helped us was very nice and friendly.||The room was very nice. Bit smaller than I expected but still had everything we needed.|Big bed, big TV, nice sofa area, desk, kitchen area and a very nice looking bathroom. Plenty of storage and hangers, and sockets (and USB) on both sides of the bed as well as on the desk area.||Also plenty of good lighting and free wi-fi.||Very good blackout blind as well as a net blind. And we heard no noise at all from our room.||We were at the back so had a really nice forest view with some water. So the room felt really private.||Breakfast was included and was good. Nothing special compared to other hotels we've stayed in but still good.|There was fried egg, sausage patties, biscuits, scones, warm packaged waffles, cereal and fruit.|Would have been nice to have some bread or bagels though.||Overall, we had a very nice one night stay here and I'd definitely recommend this hotel. We will probably stay here again when we are back...
Read moreI have stayed at a lot of hotels due to visiting family, leisure travel amd my daughter playing extremely competitive travel soccer for 9 years. This is hands down the nicest hotel I have stayed in. The location was super convenient- lots of dining options right within walking distance and a grocery store, too. A gas station basically on the other side of the parking lot. They had BBQ grills, which one of the teams used for a big team dinner. All rooms are equipped with a full size couch, a nice big closet with storage system built in, a full size fridge, coffee pot, stove top, and a workable kitchen. The bathroom was beautiful. HUGE shower. I was so impressed, as was my daughter. She took video of the room and put it on her snap story, that's how nice it was. The breakfast was not as over the top as some hotels, but given how bad the food still is at the other places, who cares?! They had really great coffee available downstairs at all times and the front desk staff was so sweet and accommodating (I made a mess as soon as we were walking in and she just cleaned it right up without making me feel like a bigger dingdong). I will be going back and encouraging our team to use this hotel as a first pick option when...
Read moreI'll start with the good, the hotel seemed clean and it is new so it looks great overall. The easy check in and no touch access from your phone was very convenient and Covid friendly. We had a small issue with the lights in the room and they sent someone upto fix it quickly. The staff was also friendly and helpful so the reason for my gripe has nothing to do with the staff at all. So, now to the negative part. We rented a king bed suite which is advertised as having a pull out bed. We got to the hotel pretty late in the day with two very tired kids to find out the pull out bed is really a ( what my daughter called), a fold out piece of cardboard. There were no sheets in the room for it so we had to call the front desk and go downstairs to get. In addition to that, our King size bed wasn't any better. My husband threw out his back from how hard the bed was and we ended up checking out the next evening to make a 4 hour drive back home so we can sleep on our own bed.
As a Marriott Bonvoy member, I'm pretty upset this hotel is labeled as a Marriott. I don't expect to sleep on cardboard at a Marriott hotel. At a minimum I expect to have...
