It's been a while since my last visit to an Arby's, and I must say I was disappointed. Now the food is good, I have never had an issue there, but the presentation was lacking on the final product. Some of our sandwiches had to be reconstructed when we got home. Meat had slipped out of the buns, and the chedder cheese was all over the outside of the buns, causing quite a mess. Even with all that, the sandwiches tasted good. The amount of roast beef was as I had expected, as was the amount of chedder cheese. The only issue I had was the condiments, as they only gave us Arby's sauce and nothing else. Good thing we had Horseradish sauce at the house.
The workers did very little to engage with me or any of the other customers in line. The atmosphere is kind of plain and almost sterile. There is no background music for the customers to enjoy while dining in. From what I see, the restaurant is concentrating on drive-thru service and very little for a walk-up. But in this day and age, this is what's expected.
So, if you are just picking up some of Arby's good sandwiches and other items, this is a good place to visit. If you plan on dining in, then don't expect anything more than a clean table to sit at and be able to top off your drink before you leave. Remember to clean up your area before you leave so others can have a clean table to sit at.
I do have a couple of suggestions for the owners of the restaurant. This Arby's location has been here for years, and times have changed. With the new hospital opening to the north and all the new subdivisions going in and medical centers soon to follow, some upgrades may be in order. Modification to the building, concentrating on drive-thru and online order pickups. The lobby is a thing of the past. A couple of patio tables is more than enough. Customers can eat in their vehicles, or there is a nice park just down the road a little with shade trees to eat under. By eliminating the lobby, you could expand the preparation area and subsequently offer a second franchise food from the same building. Maybe Taco Bell, Wendy's, or another such type of fast food restaurant.
Anyway, that is my observations and suggestions. This Arby's is a good spot to stop for lunch or dinner. I suggest using the drive-thru or even better order online and pick-up using...
Read moreI didn't go in the store so I can't say anything about the food. But on my way home back to Winter Haven from my VA medical center appointment my cars motor blew up and I barely got it in the Arby's parking lot. I am a disabled US ARMY combat veteran and I and permanently disabled on a fixed income so it took me a couple of days before I could get the money for a tow truck. But even though I wrote a note and taped it to the back window saying that I would be back to get it and to please not get it towed they did anyways. So I just bought the car recently for $1800.00 and I already have a tow and storage bill that's almost $500.00. And it goes up $35.00 a day for 37 days then they scrap the car and then I can't renew my license until I pay the bill. So that's another $1700.00 just to get it then I gotta pay for a tow then pay to fix it. Thanks ARBY'S you really know how to look out for humanity. You didn't have to tow it. It's not like it was in the way or bothering anyone you just don't have empathy. Your too busy giving people that break down and can afford to tow and fix their cars immediately free drinks and air conditioning. I'll never eat at any Arby's restaurants ever...
Read moreThe stars are from the sandwich.but the kid at the drive thru needed to be fired from back talking the asst. Manager while a lobby full of customers watch the manager telling the kid to do the job he was hired to do. The manager had a discussed look on her face when I bet she wanted to fire him. The whole time while he walked thru the kitchen bad mouthing her. I felt like saying something to him but, I figured if I did it would have made her look bad in front of the customers. Either she never talked back to her employee's before or the store manager doesn't let the #2 managers make decisions like that. Needless to say the asst. manager was doing three jobs running the front line, the register, and pulling the drive thru out of the hole the stupid kid was digging. I hope the managers understand that you have to be a manager and fire insubordinate employee's to gain respect and fear in the work...
