Wow, where to begin. I rated service and atmosphere acceptable because I had a takeout order. The place seemed clean and the employees were okay.
I was in the mood for Cajun style seafood and figured I’d give them a try to see how they compared to other similar local restaurants of this style. Horrible!!! Let’s start with the portion of food for $67.04.
I got the combo A - 1/2# Snow Crab, 1/2# Shrimp, 1- lobster tail, 1- corn, 2- potatoes. I added on an additional 1/2# snow crab and 1/2# green mussels. Thank god I did or my wife would not have had anything to eat.😂
I really think their scales are way off, because all of that fit into what looked like a gallon size ziplock bag. All of the little bit of seafood I received was well done and not in a good way (overcooked). It was all rubbery, and most of the 8 mussel shells were empty.
I had to give a review on this one. There is no way this place should be a 4/4.5 star restaurant.
Hate to do it, but right is right. The food is overpriced and they know it. The quality is terrible and they know it. So they don’t have to worry about me dining with them again. There are other seafood boil places in Plant City that are wayyyyyy better.
But hey, decide for yourself if you want to, I’m sure you’ll be just as disappointed as I was.

Read moreGreat potential but, inconsistent. Our most palatable and pleasing dish that day was their Rolling Crab Seasoning Wings. They were flavorful but, not overwhelming and cooked to perfection. The boils with the Garlic Butter seasoning were tasty. They didn't follow directions with a few of the bubble drinks. (I wish servers wuld go back to writing things down, at least with large groups and orders) The Honey Garlic wings tasted more like Teriyaki than most variations of "honey-garilc". My crab cake was meaty and decently flavored but, over cooked. The fried fish was plentiful in size but grossly under cooked for all three of our orders. Replacements were made and still undercooked lol. Recooked them in the airfryer at home and they were delicious. The fried shrimp was heavily battered butterfly shrimp and not the same shrimp used in the boil. (Disappointing and unexpected as it wasn't noted on the menu) I guess it could be acceptable if you’re getting it to-go and don't mind and/or enjoy doctoring up your portions. Kind of inconvenient for the dining-in birthday celebration we were...
Read moreI came for the blue crabs and it did not disappoint! They were fresh and full! I love that they keep the shell on. That’s the proper way to cook and eat blue crab in my opinion! I got the Rolling Crab seasoning, spicy level medium. The sauce is soooo good and I love that they use fresh garlic because I’m a garlic lover! I also got raw oysters and they were great too! I believe it’s the cheapest place for oysters that I know of. Evan was our waiter and his service was on point with bringing us all the utensils and gloves and checking on us periodically. He shook up the bag to distribute the sauce and opened it for us and when we were done and needed a to-go bag he also tied up the bags and bagged it for us. I know not a lot of places take the effort, so it’s much much appreciated! Also! Happy hour is everyday, buy one get one free beer/wine! Can’t beat that! Highly recommend this hidden gem!
