Decent selection, but wow, horrible customer service! I have used this store for years, but almost always I know what I need and where it is. A year ago, I bought a bee hive and a bunch of bee supplies. They didn't have exactly what I needed, so I was directed to the customer information desk. I had a mostly unhelpful employee at the desk, but I got the order placed.
Unfortunately, nobody called or emailed when the order came in. I called the store and was told the order had been sitting in the back of the store for days. I immediately got in my truck and went down there... and found the hive was there, but several frames were broken.
The employees helped me that day and replaced the frames (heck that's why I'm giving them two stars, not one). They even called me as soon as the frames came in. After this, I figured I just had a bad experience with a couple of employees and decided to give them another try. When it came time to order more bee supplies, I went in and posted up at the help desk.... where I found an employee talking to an off duty employee about how she should sell her cheesecake as a business.
I was told to use the touch screen to order my items. No help. No suggestions. When I told one of the employees I couldn't find what I needed, his response was "oh well."
I called the vendor and found out what I needed was on their website, but I will be dipped if I was going to buy anything from this store after all that!
If you wonder why brick and mortar stores are going out of business.... this is it. Tractor Supply could have made a $200 sale, with a guarantee of lots more down the road, but now Jeff Bezos got my business.    Read morePlaced an online order for a safe with a coupon for pickup today.. Received email confirmation that order was processed and that we would receive an email when it was ready for pickup. An hour or so later we received an email that our order was canceled! Called the store and asked to speak to the Manager and was hung up on TWICE!! Called back and finally spoke to the Manager! His response was that someone had called in and placed a 48 hour hold on the same safe (no money was put down).. When asked why IF we were able to complete the purchase online, pay IN FULL for the item, and were waiting to pick up the item TODAY how that was possible?? He stated that they âForgotâ to take it offline and âIF the other guy doesnât show up tomorrow or doesnât want it weâll call youâ... He was extremely RUDE and very UNPROFESSIONAL to say the least especially since we had ALREADY PAID for the item and were waiting to go pick it up! But HEY who knows maybe they REALLY needed that extra money that my COUPON had saved me that the other guy didnât have đ¤ˇââď¸.. HORRIBLE Customer Service All Around!
