Asked on Fort Lauderdale Reddit where I can find the best tacos in our area after experiencing delicious street tacos in LA and Tijuana. This is going to be my favorite go-to spot. I've tried several Mexican restaurants and trucks around Broward county and this is the first that actually competes with the LA street Tacos I used to have. I decided to go with their more exotic meats for my tacos so I went with Lengua y Tripa, Cow Tongue and Tripe. Both were seasoned well and very flavorful- I do recommend both for anybody that wants to try something out of the ordinary chicken, steak, Al Pastor, etc. Lengua was my favorite of the two. I also wanted to try out between the Burrito Mixta or Torta Mixta but I ended up deciding on Torta (bread/sandwich) compared to the the rolled up tortilla. My two meat options were Asada and Al Pastor, so I can at least try out these meats as well from here. I could not stop taking bites from this huge monster of a sandwich because every bite was juicy and flavorful as well. Salsa Roja and salsa Verde are both a great level of spice. Many other places skimp out on their salsas and may not be spicy enough or watered down but this place does it RIGHT! I also went with a Mexican Coke and here's pricing guide on my meal:
Torta Mixta: $12 Tacos (upgraded meats): 2 x 3.50 = $7 Mexican Coke: $3 Total damage was about $22-25 with taxes and tip
I would come back to show my Mexican wife this new spot, thanks to the Taqueros for this delicious trip and existing in...
Read moreYep. Amazing. It’s next to the Pantera Night club kinda tucked in next to the wall so we missed it the first pass. Tacos all delish and really good tortillas. The carne burrito was prob the best burrito I’ve ever had. No rice filler which was great and big slices of ripe creamy avocado. The HOT SAUCES thou were amazing 🥵 burnt our faces off in a such a GOOD way lol. Those hot sauces really made everything taste soooo good! We’re trying all the taco trucks in the area and so far this is our fav. REALLY loved being able to eat there at the tables and that they didn’t use styrofoam for the “dine in” since we try to be as plastic/foam free as possible. $30 for our food and a few Jarritos sodas and...
Read moreThe best taco so far I have had in soflo area. Such a hidden gem. We went there at 10pm on a Saturday night and they have customer coming in every 5 mins. There wasn’t much seating there and most people just pick up their food. We had the taco and got pastor barbacoa and beef. They were all delicious and very flavorful. They made all their food fresh when you order them. Their sauce is amazing too. Will definitely be added to one of our to go...
