I went in Sunday, May 5 around 2 o’clock to grab food for my family. I ordered two small fried chicken, two small brown stew and a small jerk chicken meal. Totaling around $70. Once I reached home, my jerk chicken was not cooked and there was blood still coming out of the chicken.
That frustrates me even more is the fact that I had to deal with this rude Indian looking lady with a very bad attitude on a Sunday. The place was empty when I got there. And this isn’t the first time that I’ve had to deal with this lady with a bad attitude or being extremely rude for no reason at all. Sad thing is, I know that if I was a white person or Caucasian that walked in the facility, I would not have been treated the way that this woman treated me just for simply asking if she can put planting in my food. You would have thought I talked about her mother. Back to the main issue in hand the food I am a customer that comes in at least three days a week to the store. And always ordered the same amount of food for my family. This is the third time I’ve had a situation with Food as well as this particular lady. Issued a refund. my next step is to report this particular to the health department, especially as that particular lady was not wearing a hairnet did not have her hair covered her hands covered handled money and my food. And then served another customer without washing her hands after handling money (cash) as I witnessed it all. I...
Read moreUpdate 1/18/2025 - There is a certain level of dishonesty associated with this restaurant. On Uber Eats this restaurant advertises food they do not have. Let me tell you want happened today. I ordered a large chicken soup from this restaurants menu on UberEats. With taxes and fees it came up to about $30. The restaurant called me to say they didn't make any soup today. So I said, no prob then cancel the order. The dishonest worker said they cannot cancel the order on their side so i have to cancel it (which is a lie, I called and asked ubereats). I canceled the order and now unereats wants to charge meva $16 cancellation fee as the restaurant says it was inconvenienced by me canceling the order. This is for an item ordered off of their menu which they didn't prepare today. These criminals are beating the system. They know that if they don't cancel in their end and the ask the customer to then they still get a payout. It's a good thing I ordered on my credit card and I will simply dispute the charge.
CUSTOMERS BE WARE, THIS IS A RACKET. This restaurants advertises items on their menu that they do not have and then tell the customer they cannot cancel the order on their end and asks you to cancel. When you do this they still get paid a fee. I'm so happy that there's a Dutch pot just down the road. I'll be taking my...
Read moreArrive at Donna’s restaurant located at the Jacaranda square in Plantation. This place has been a staple for me and my family because I’m there picking up dinner about 4 times a week. But today my experience was so unpleasant that I’ve decided to post a review just to share some light. I walked in and there was two employee chatting in the dining area. I assumed that they were on their brake because one was eating. So while I waited in line to be served, one of the two that was on brake had decided to come help me. Then I kindly ask her to “please wash your hands before you serve me”. And her rude attitude said to me “ there isn’t anything wrong with my hands”. Then I said well I know that Donna”s restaurant must have a Protocol to follow during COVID 19 because that is not right. And there employees are playing with people lives if they are not being sanitary. Instead of her to oblige, she acted like it was nothing and I was bothering her for no reason. And she went on to serve the next client without washing her hands or putting on gloves. SIMONE “ all I did was asking you kindly to wash your hands before serving me” . I have kids and the least 8 want to do is infected them by you being careless about your job. PLEASE who ever is the manager there advised and teach your employees about your Protocol...
