Vito's Gourmet Pizza Plantation — Restaurant in Plantation

I'd like to preface this by saying the pizza was okay and arrived on time which is a feat for a pizza joint on a Friday night.

Issue is with service

Problem #1 Didn't come with one of the salads I ordered, delivery guy was completely unhelpful and just shrugged while walking away saying "that's all they gave me" and just walked away I.E he didn't care I didn't get part of my order even though I paid for it.

Problem #2 ordered all the toppings I like and payed an extra $2 per topping (roughly $28 total for a small pizza). I had put online that I ONLY wanted the fresh mozzarella (I payed for fresh mozzarella as an extra topping and just requested they remove the shredded) also ordered basil & jalapeno (for whatever reason is presented as a single option and not two separate options problem is I only wanted basil which I also noted on the instructions). This confused the front desk so they called I explained and she read back the changes. When the pizza arrived it only had basil and fresh mozzarella. I called minorly upset but tried to remain cool but when she tried excusing it by just repeating that she read back the changes it upset me further because now she was just trying to remove blame from herself and shift it to me (not once did I blame her I just wanted to either get it fixed or a refund on what wasn't there) which is unhelpful and does not solve problems. They're busy and every second I take is taking away from her ability to service other customers so I didn't argue. She did refund the missed salad but offered no refund on the other 4 toppings I ordered.

Not going to tell you not to order from here, the food is decent enough but they need a lot of work on the service aspect and focus on solutions and not who's to blame for a...

5 STARS FOR VITO’s PLANTATION’ AAA+++ WHY? Their pizza dough is spectacular; almost like a crispy filo pastry dough on the outside & a warm italian bread on the inside. Just the perfect amount of olive oil with the RIGHT FLOUR like King Arthur. & Their toppings are flavorful. They used real italian chuck sausage, not that sliced up dry stuff mass produced in jersey. The truth is I have eaten pizza all over like place like Sallys & Pepe’s on Wooster St. & at Rays in NY. I have even had Fruit de Mer pizza in Nice France also. If you LOVE PIZZA THEN CHECK VITO’s out. I noticed they serve slices all day also : ) To get a pizza here in south florida or EVEN CLOSE to this authentic italian pizza then you would have to driveto delray beach on head east Linton blvd close, to the beach on 5th to Le Sorelle’ Restaurant / pizzeria. There hasn’t ever been pizza this good or ecen close to this in Plantation florida . NEVER EVER.

Very very disappointed , The cashier is rude let’s start there. I ordered food on door dash because that’s the only way to get food delivered , unfortunately there are no options to edit what you want on your sandwich. So I have to call. I call in the cashier is making it difficult for me to edit my order. Being argumentative on things that are extremely easy. I can tell this location is not associated with the one in Fort Lauderdale because the that one actually cares about its guest. I DONT NEED to spend $20 on a single sandwich and get attitude for it . I WILL from now on just go to Publix and make my own. This place is a BIG disappointment .
