The new Flacos on rt 125 in Plaistow, NH was our destination tonight. We were so excited to try it! The atmosphere is casual cool, with the main focus being on the large rectangular bar that encompasses most of the main room. The stools are swivel and comfy, the table was tippy but I loved the foot rest underneath. Our server was pleasant, but overall not very attentive. Once we ordered we didn’t see him for a long time, we kept having to ask other servers to find our server. The food was very nicely presented, but overall had very little flavor and was expensive! That surprised us! The chips needed salt, the $15 guacamole with pork belly was a small serving with almost no flavor. We asked (a different server cause we didn’t see ours) for some salsa and a very bland and tasteless small bowl came. Don’t know what was in it because it had no flavor to taste but I’m going to guess a tomatillo?, but I’m honestly not certain. The short rib plate (our server’s recommendation) was presented nicely, and the meat was nicely salted, but the menu said it was marinated and neither of us could taste any marinade. The beans, though nicely served in a little tortilla cup, had no flavor and same with the pico de gallo and rice. We ordered a pork stew to go, and when we got it home, opened it up to find not a stew, but shredded meat. I tasted it. Again, not much flavor. My Margarita was OK, but nothing to write home about, except the pretty dehydrated fruit garnish. Over all, I would say this was a very ho hum meal, with a (mostly) missing server. I would have ordered dessert to go, but by the time our guy finally came, we had been sitting so long we could not wait any longer to leave. I can’t say I’ll never go back again, we may try it again some other time, but for now, there are so many other tastier Mexican style restaurants to go to other than Flacos. For our experience and meal tonight, we both give it thumbs down, I’m sorry to say. Maybe we’ll try it again in a few months to see if they’ve made any progress. Til then, Cinco’s in Epping is a far superior choice. Our meal for two came to $89 with tip and was just meh. Not worth the money. I would say if you like a bar atmosphere, this will be your kind of place. Flacos is a bar that also serves food, not a restaurant that also has a bar, if you catch my drift.

Flaco's Delivers a Five-Star Mexican Experience! Prepare your taste buds for a treat and settle in for a fantastic dining experience – Flaco's Mexican restaurant is an absolute gem! From the moment you arrive, the positive vibes are palpable, and they carry through every aspect of your visit. Let's talk about the food first: it is, simply put, delicious. Each dish is bursting with authentic flavors, clearly prepared with fresh ingredients and a passion for Mexican cuisine. Whether you're craving classic tacos, flavorful enchiladas, or something a little more adventurous, Flaco's delivers on taste and quality. The exceptional food is complemented by truly top-notch service. Our server was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable, making excellent recommendations and ensuring we had everything we needed throughout our meal. The staff's dedication to creating a welcoming and efficient dining experience really stands out. Adding to the stress-free visit is the convenience of plenty of parking. No need to circle the block or worry about finding a spot – a refreshing change of pace! The great atmosphere at Flaco's makes it perfect for any occasion, whether it's a lively dinner with friends or a relaxed family meal. The decor is inviting, and there's a comfortable buzz that makes you feel right at home. Crucially, the restaurant is impeccably clean. This attention to detail is evident throughout the space and adds to the overall positive impression. Flaco's Mexican restaurant has truly mastered the recipe for a wonderful dining experience: delicious food, outstanding service, a great atmosphere, and the practical benefits of ample parking and a clean environment. It's a must-visit for any Mexican food lover!

We had an amazing dinner tonight! The atmosphere was relaxed, with great leather chairs, and our server was friendly and quick. My husband enjoyed the Birria tacos, while I had street tacos with a mix of chorizo and steak—we both cleared our plates in record time! Honestly, I wished I had ordered four tacos instead of three because it felt so short-lived; the food was so good it almost felt like we inhaled it! These tacos are absolutely out of this world and, for me, hands down the best I’ve ever had in my entire life. We also shared a Bonita margarita, which was just as delicious as we remembered from their food truck days. SeƱor Flaco stopped by to check on us, and we happily let him know how much we loved everything. As we walked out of the restaurant, we already think of when we want to come back next. šŸ˜…!

We went last week and had an incredible experience. We will be returning again this week!

When we first arrived, the parking lot was quite full and there was a 15 minute wait. The young woman at the front allowed me to take a soft opening menu out to the car so we could look it over and decide what we wanted while our daughter snoozed in the back seat. We also noticed all of the silly signage around the parking lot! Handicap parking sign read "No Walko? Here parko!" Next to that, the expectant/new mothers sign read "No Taco? No Parko!" On the ramp leading to the front doors, the walkway read "Watch-o Step-o!" Initially, while all of that did make me giggle, I was skeptical of how the food would taste.

True to their promise, we were seated 15 minutes later in a wonderful dining room full of comfortable leather chairs. The decorations inside were just enough without being overdone. Our waitress, who told us her name was Elsa, was absolutely wonderful with our sleepy 4 year old. The customer service we received from Elsa was truly above and beyond.

We ordered the chips, salsa, and chili con queso, which turned out to be delicious fresh chips, outstanding salsa, and...just queso (no chili). The queso was ok. My husband and I each ordered the "boring tacos"; mine with pastor, and his with beef. To say they were the best tacos of my life would be an understatement. The pastor, paired with soft corn tortillas, fresh cilantro, and sharp onion... perfection. Absolute perfection. They also served it with a different type of salsa, which enhanced it even further.

Bottom line: I was blown away. We will absolutely be back really soon. I truly hope they are able to continue this outstanding level of customer service and...
