7 Hills North — Restaurant in Platteville

The waitresses are not good at their job and need to be retrained! We were a party of 7, instead of putting two tables together to accommodate us, we sat at 2 different tables in the same room far apart. The floor was super sticky as if no one had washed them EVER! The restaurant was empty. The waitress handed them menus and took their drink order then gave us menus and walked away, she gave the other table their drinks and then took their order. Then she disappeared and came back 10 minutes later to take our drink order and we were ready to order a long time ago. The drinks were wrong , the food was very messy. The waiter was non existent the entire time, my coworker needed a drink refill and she told him to wait. The fries were good but the brisket burger wasn’t. The Brussels sprout bites were burned. I have been to this 7 Hills location more than a dozen times over the past few years, but after my experience today, I might not be back for a while. We came in to eat during a noon Packers game, but they only had one of their 5 or 6 TVs on the game. I nearly always get the Brisky Bites sandwich, but today it was bland and dry, almost flavorless. I asked for mayonnaise to improve the taste and they charged me $1 for it, plus another $1 for my side of ranch for my fries. Both were just small cups of sauce. Also, the garbage can in the bathroom was nearly overflowing and clearly hadn't been emptied since the night before. Overall, management seems to be absent at this location. When we heard 7hills was opening a second location, my partner and I were very excited and held high expectations for this restaurant.

The crew at 7Hills did not disappoint. I stopped in a couple weeks after the opening and had a few brews. The selection of tap is satisfying and hits a wide range of beers. My friends and I all enjoyed what was on the drink menu!
