Bridal Boutique — Local services in Platteville

I'm extremely dissatisfied with the service provided by Bridal Boutique. I purchased my dress that needed altering. Bridal Boutique referred me to a seamstress who did a terrible job, even after three trips for fittings. I was obligated to pay this seamstress, but decided to take the dress back to Bridal Boutique to show them the results of their recommended seamstress. The staff agreed it was not altered correctly, ordered me a new dress, and referred me to another seamstress. I am still waiting for the second seamstress to complete my dress and can only hope it is correct as I'm simply out of time. Here's the rub-- Bridal Boutique will not stand behind the work of the first seamstress and will not reimburse me the money I paid to the first seamstress.vand to clarify, Bridal Boutique staff told me I was obligated to pay for the first seamstress's work. I highly recommend this place to ANYONE looking for a wedding gown. After having left 2 other bridal salons without having found my dress, I didn't think this place would be much different. BOY I WAS WRONG. From the moment we walked in to the moment we left, I felt like we were the most important people in the building. Absolutely incredible service by Carla! Her professionalism, knowledge of the dresses and her humor turned this experience around for us! Not to mention, the other places I had been I had to get into the dresses by myself then the person would come in to zip/button etc. Not here! I was provided with appropriate undergarments so I felt comfortable and Carla never left me to get into a gown by myself. The co-owner, Tomi was absolutely phenomenal. Tomi, Margy, and all of the ladies at Bridal Boutique went above and beyond to make sure everyone looked astonishing for our wedding! We got my wedding dress, the mother of the bride dress, all bridesmaid dresses, and all of the tuxes from Bridal Boutique. Whenever we stopped into the shop, whether it was to look for something, just try on our dresses, pick something up, etc, we were ALWAYS greeted with a smile and treated beyond wonderful. Seriously, I cannot commend the Bridal Boutique, Tomi, Margy and the staff enough! I would recommend this shop and these ladies to anyone and everyone planning their wedding! (We even accidently ran into Tomi on our wedding day! Because she made us all look so good and is such a great person-we knew we had to take a photo with her!)
