Bill & Bali’s - Pizza & Pints — Restaurant in Pleasant Hill

Placed an order for pickup and arrived minutes before the food was completed around 8pm on a Wednesday night. The restaurant had a total of 10 people dining in. In my opinion, not busy enough to warrant food that felt like it was made without supervision.

The chicken wing meat was crispier than the pizza crust. The wings were lacking in sauce and were very dry and hard to chew. The pizza was layered in undercooked toppings. Sauce was very sparse and edges were somehow burnt without adding crunch to the rest of the pizza. Overall had a bland taste that felt lacking. Pricing for what we received was also not ideal. If the prices were halved then it would be more in line with the quality.

I live in the apartment complex where the restaurant is located and was hoping to become a regular but don’t see myself dining here again. I cannot comment on the atmosphere or service as this was a pick up order, just don’t expect pizza that would break your list of top 50 places...

Baldeep is amazing! He legitimately cares about this business succeeding and is a pleasure to talk to given his passion for this restaurant. It is very clear when you walk in and start a conversation with him that he is an owner given he radiates passion for what he is delivering to you as a customer. Please please please give them a chance and tell them exactly what you want for your pizza (I love extra cheese and told him it's not extra cheese unless I'm choking on cheese lol) he genuinely listened and said yeah get extra cheese, I'll make sure you have EXTRA cheese on your pizza. It's hard to find that these days and any business that is listening to you deserves our patronage! Edit: I've eaten half of their large pizza by myself despite it being intended for 4+ people and it was incredible. Definitely recommend extra cheese and the large so you can enjoy...

The service was weird, when I asked for cider I was told to go get it myself at a fridge way too far away to make sense. Then when I did, the person taking my order left and was talking to a friend at the bar instead of helping me even tho we made eye contact. I got the feeling maybe they don’t like people who look like me, since I’ve gotten this treatment before ant other bias places, often after barely walking in The door. Salad was gross and didn’t come as stated in the menu, the cauliflower was pure MUSH and super nasty. Pizza was sad and bland and had CANNED black olives even tho it was like $22 for a tiny personal pizza. The atmosphere is sportsball and trashy tv....
