On Saturday Oct 17, 2020, my daughter and I came in for our 7:30 PM dinner reservation and we were greeted very pleasantly by the hostess, Courtney.
She kindly asked us to wait one moment while she bussed and cleaned a table for us.
Once we were seated, our waitress - the same Courtney - asked if we would like to start with drinks while we looked over the menu.
We placed our beverage order and observed the bartender, also Courtney, making our drinks (she makes a fabulous mojito).
At this point we began to look around and realized that every table on the patio was full, as were several inside the restaurant.
Courtney happily delivered our drinks and took our order.
On her way to put it into the kitchen, we again observed her checking on all the other tables and pre-bussing what she could carry.
*Please keep in mind that it was 95 degrees today and the sun had only just set. This girl was dressed in all black, long pants, a full apron all the way to her ankles, long sleeves, a neck tie - and due to COVID-19 - was properly and fully in a heavy face-mask.
Throughout the evening my daughter and I noticed this young lady kept her sparkle and her desire to effectively serve her all of the guests, as she was the only one working the entire floor.
The food was delicious. It was prepared to perfection and served promptly by none other than the awesome and intrepid Courtney. She fully bussed and cleaned each table as the parties left the restaurant.
(We have eaten out several times since this soft re-opening in our community and have always gotten our food served on the restaurant's plates. But tonight, everything except beverages were all served in To-Go containers. I found that ODD for a nicer restaurant, as even Denny's put my sandwich on a regular plate...)
As we finished our dinner we could not help but notice that Courtney was still the only person working the front door, tables, bar, and cook's window, in addition to bussing. We saw an older "gentleman" come out from the back of the house and sit at a table inside the air conditioned restaurant. He sat with a beer, a TV remote, and his cell phone... REALLY???? We JUST HAD TO ASK... "Is that your manager?" She looked concerned, thinking we might be upset and told us no. That was the kind owner, Amir...
Well, sir. Good leaders lead by example. The example of leadership I observed tonight was horrible. We could see into the cooks line, so we KNEW you were not helping in there. We ate on plastic throw away dishes, so we KNEW you were not washing dishes. Courtney was tending the bar, so we KNEW you were not helping there either. You never even so much as walked the restaurant floor to ask if your guests were happy. I gave overall 4 stars because of your lack of leadership, but your kitchen staff and Courtney DESERVE 5 STARS. What I observed from you, sir, was abusive. During a weekend dinner service with a full house you either need to step up and participate or hire a manager who will..
I will be back. I understand the closures and damage of COVID-19 have shuttered our economy and have negatively affected us ALL. I only just returned to work 12 days ago, so I really understand the struggle. I am hoping when I return I will not find your staff being mistreated in this manner.
Please look forward to my...

Wait: less than 10minutes Lighting: intimate but bright enough to read the menu Spacious seating & plenty of hand sanitizers around. Each seating area had a sanitizer bottle.
My husband & I were at the mall & even though there were plenty of restaurants around to eat from (cause it's currently only take out) or outdoor seating (it's too cold even with the heaters) nothing jumped out at us til we seen Pasta Primavera. Service was GREAT! We were able to dine in & had sufficient amount of space away from others (more than 6ft). Did not wait long for our food either. 😋 The food was DELICIOUS! The bread & whatever red sauce/dip that comes with it was 🤤 yuuumm warm & soft, I mean the bread alone gave my husband & I the impression that wwooww the rest of our dinner was about to be bomb. Pasta salad 🥗 enough for two to split. Coconut combo was soooo good, the amount of sauce was perfect 👌 that you could eat the rice with it alone. My husband killed his Paella combo, he was even genius enough to do 1/2 & 1/2 (rice & choice of pasta) instead of just rice. Rice was cooked right too, not dry or crunchy & not too moist & mushy. For dessert we had a choice of gelato 🍨, creme brûlée🍮, or tiramisu. We went with chocolate gelato & creme brûlée🤤soooo good, the chocolate gelato is rich & paired perfectly with the creme brûlée. Even when closing time was approaching, we didn't feel rushed at all like other places. Our waitress Courtney(spell check) recommended the Primavera 🍕 pizza so that's what we got to go. Writing this review about 3-4hrs after, and have yet to get into the pizza cause I'm still full. Also we loved that our food was delicious & wasn't too oily either. If ever in the area again we're definitely coming back.
We used the restrooms. Only one toilet in each restroom. Both were clean. Sink water pressure was a little weak...
Read moreTheir tiramisu sets the bar for all other versions as far as we’re concerned: no Hershey’s syrup here, it’s got a very well liqueur-soaked base topped with the lightest, smoothest cocoa-dusted sweet mascarpone. We took a bite and closed our eyes and stopped moving to savor its flavor and texture. The second unique aspect of this restaurant is the sundried tomato eggplant tapenade they serve with a basket of bread. You might need to ask for it; I saw another table request it so I did too, but it used to be given as soon as we were seated.
Today we ordered the Veal Piccata, Vegetarian Pesto Rigatoni, Veal Saltimbocca by accident and Warm Bruschetta. All were excellent.
We came at lunch on Sunday and only four tables were occupied. The servers kept our glasses filled, brought everything in a timely manner and were pleasant. One server accidentally brought us Veal Saltimbocca, and was very gracious in correcting the order and bringing my husband the Veal Piccata he’d been craving. The sauce had wine and capers with the addition of thinly sliced red onions. My pesto cream sauce had parsley in addition to the basil and hardly any detectable garlic. The parsley had me wondering if my rigatoni was whole wheat because of its fresh texture in the sauce.
Great...
