Cold Stone Creamery — Restaurant in Pleasanton

The hours on google and when I called said they were open at 11. I showed up at 12:40 with 3 kids in 100 degree weather… the store sign said they opened at 1. Ok- we tried to make the best out of a bad situation - kids played red light green light… so by the time someone showed up (after 1) we were a hot mess. The lady was nice but we were struggling. There was a huge puddle of water inside, and I appreciate the lady worked to set up and serve us before cleaning that up, but it was a struggle to keep my sweating 2 year old out of the water. When she started putting our orders together she put the ice cream in the cup and pour the mix ins on top. I has to ask her to actually mix the mix ins. To her credit she did without arguing with me- but it felt like something I shouldn’t have had to ask for. When we went to check out I brought out a coupon I had been emailed from cold stone and she said they don’t accept coupons 🤦🏼‍♀️. Also she didn’t let enter my phone number for rewards-not a huge deal but compounded with all of the other things it was just too much. I will not be returning to this cold stone. Super upset with this establishment. I tried contacting management multiples times and no one ever reaches back out. Half the employees claim they never see management either. I run a program and we planned on bringing small groups of children here every Wednesday during summer. Every time we have shown up no one is working. Their hours online do not reflect their true hours and their own employees do not know when they open. I have spoken to 3 different staff members and they all claim they open at different times. Super upsetting. When I have visited this store before on my own time, a large majority of their staff are also very rude. We had the strawberry blonde for ourselves, which was way too sugary but good. Kids got the silk almond milk vegan ice cream with some almonds and sprinkles for toppings. I see a lot of one-star reviews for this place, but our experience was fairly good. The place is way too small, there's not much room for seating there. They, however, do have 2 tables inside, but it was already occupied, and there is no seating arrangement outside either.
