Stopped in yesterday for take out. Food was freshly prepared in about 15 minutes and worth the short wait. The owner took our order and disappeared into the kitchen to prepare it, working hard. She was very friendly and we had a quick chat. Lots of dishes to choose from, we had dal (lentil) curry, with moderate spice and we enjoyed it. We also ordered a veggie fried rice, which was nicely prepared. Aloo Gobi (potatoes & cauliflower) was delicious. Prices are reasonable considering inflation, and competitive with other Indian restaurants in the area. Our family used to enjoy the buffet here, but with Covid concerns, it's no longer offered, which we understand.

We recently enjoyed a good lunch at this small northern Indian restaurant that's reopened in Pleasanton. The Chicken Tikka Masala was a standout, delicious and easily our favorite dish of the meal. The Goat Biryani was flavorful, though some pieces of meat were a bit fatty. The Garlic Naan was exceptional - soft, fluffy, and just right. The Saag Paneer was okay, though the ginger pieces weren't to our liking. The experience was made even better by the friendly lady owner. It's a nice addition to Pleasanton's dining scene, especially for those of us looking for authentic Indian flavors. We're eager to return and explore more of their menu.

Mixed feelings about their buffet. I usually prefer hole-in-wall/mom-pop casual restaurants, but this one was too unclean. Good: butter chicken, papadum, fish pakora, clean water. Not so good: cleanliness from tablecloths to plates/utensils. For $10.91, I would prefer to pay $12+ at My Favorite Indian in San Ramon or $13.10 at Frontier Spice in Pleasanton Town Center.

Well we have been eating here for over a year but tonight will be the last time, we ordered over the phone was told 30 mins, it wasn't ready when we arrived so he asked us to take a seat, the place was pretty busy so we sat outside, we were out there for around 20 mins, there was a bag sat on the side inside for around 15 mins of those 20, That was our food! No one came to tell us it was ready! So by the time we get home its pretty much cold. Also if you want rice make sure to order it, the rice is not included with the curry... so after all the mess around of reheating the curry then having to make rice we sit to eat and the curry is watery! It was more like soup than curry! It tasted watered down but with spice.. so this place went from the 2nd best Indian food I've eaten in the US to...

Very good location and delicious food but pathetic Customer service. I went there twice and every time they take too long to bring the food on table. They took about 30 minutes to bring the book and once we reorder chapati's and naan, they didn't get seem to care, our lunch was ruined. Our reorder for chapati's took another 20 minutes. We inquired about them several times but the restaurant staff didn't seem to care. Even in the last when we complained they we very rude to us. I wouldn't recommend anyone going here until they change there team of servers. But the food was actually fantastic, you can order pickup but don't go...
