Worst service I've experienced, by far!
This place deserves no stars, but Google won't let me do that.
I ordered take-out at 6:30 PM. My family is fully vegetarian, and I made sure to order two vegetarian burritos, one with no guacamole or sour cream. My son went to pick up the food, and was told they made a mistake, and they didn't put beans in that one burrito, but did put sour cream and guacamole. Anyway, he bring the food home, and both burritos had carnitas. So we called, and they said we could come exchange the food. I went there, had a conversation about how my whole family is vegetarian, and he gave me two burritos clearly marked as vegetarian.
Back home, they had carnitas again!
I shlub back the eight miles to his place. It's 8:40, and none of us is hungry anymore, so I asked for the money back. As I was explaining that it had been more than two hours since the order, and asking how, when we had spoken about the whole family being vegetarian, he could give me a burrito with carnitas, the cashier got rude. He accused me of being rude (I was making a conscious effort not to raise my voice), and started saying things like "we're all adults here, it would be fine if I never came back there again, and so on." He also refused to credit my credit card, instead telling me he will simply give me cash (which he did, but the tip got lost in the transaction).
So, now it's 9 PM, 2-1/2 hours since the original order, and I am back home snacking on random things to satisfy my hunger. And I paid about $3 in tip and $5 in gas money for...
Read moreDo not go here on a Thursday night or ever!!!!! You will be absolutely verbally assaulted, after not paying an extra 99 cents for the chips and salsa. After paying $30 dollars for my meal to go, I was completely disrespected. I was getting my salsa to go from the salsa bar, I then heard a loud shout directed to me!! The restaurant OWNER yelled that the chips and salsa, are an extra 99 cents!!! I was not told of, or aware of this policy prior to making my take out order! I then kindly responded, I don't want any chip's, only salsa!! I was then called out continually and berated in front of the customers over 99 cents for the salsa !! I offered to pay the 99 cents to avoid any future altercation, to no avail. The owner then told me that people "like me will put them out of business as his salsa "costs him thousands of dollars a month". What an Absolutely unprovoked situation over less than a dollar!!. He was Extremely confrontational and unwelcoming!!! I do not recommend this place at all due to the hostile environment and horrible customer service. All of the Owners employees were absolutely shocked at his behavior, and would not make eye contact with me at all. I felt bad for them!! An absolute horrible...
Read moreI only really go out to Mexican places for tacos now, so I can't comment on anything else. I came here after being kinda disappointed with Fiesta Taco's pastor and reading about how good the al pastor here was. Ordered 2 pastor tacos, 1 lengua taco, and a drink for a little over $10. Both the pastor and lengua were very good, with the pastor being the star of the meal. Well seasoned with crispy charred bits of pork. I'll come back to see if they're consistent and will update if necessary. The restaurant (like Fiesta) has free chips (which are also thick and crunchy) and a salsa bar. I mostly go for the salsa verde, which was very good - creamier (more avocado?) and a touch spicier than at Fiesta. The indoor seating is more limited than compared to Fiesta, but they also have an outdoor seating area. Overall, I had a great experience here and am excited to try it out again. This will probably be my go-to Mexican food place...
