On Saturday, May 25, around 1:30 my family and I decided to stop by Starbucks located at 3040 Bernal Ave #320, Pleasanton, CA 94566. We have been customers for many years, unfortunately it’s the first time we have experienced such a rude customer service, this time for the cashier (she had two braids, I didn't know her name) and two other employees who were there (All of them rude). I was very kindly ordering seven drinks, suddenly the cashier left me talking alone and she went to attend other duties, she returned back a few minutes later to retake the order and not even an apology. I immediately noticed the rude attitude in which she was retaking the order. She was rolling her eyes and with a rude tone. I asked her if she was busy and she almost shouted that she wasn't busy, anyway I let it go because I didn’t wanted to give my family a hard time. However I let her know that she was being rude, she didn't even apologize. Finally she took the order wrong, and the drinks were delivered without putting a minimum effort into the presentation. Read moreI normally never have an issue with anything at this location but I needed to speak up about the horrible experience I received this morning. It’s 9:12am on Sunday 11/10 and I mobile ordered a cold brew and egg bites. App says it’ll be ready at 9:01. I show up at 9:05 and only food is ready. Not a big deal. So I sit down at the large tall table by the bar to wait for the coffee. (Which is sitting on the bar behind the barista, ready, just needs a lid - I knew it was mine as I could see my name on the label) I wait another 7 min and she finally puts a lid on it and sets it on the counter. I ask for 2 small waters for my kiddos and as she walks away from me, says loudly: “no! I’m very busy!” Other patrons turned around at the exchange. I’m flabbergasted that she says that and in such a manner. She’s taking her sweet time making coffee while listening to her music in her AirPods. My only response was: “you could have been kinder about your response. The water was for my kids.” This was the girl with a long brown ponytail in her mid-late 20s and looks to be maybe Hispanic? I went through the drive-through and ordered two regular black coffees with a side of heavy cream, along with a couple of food items. I had to repeat my order four times, and it even sounded like the employees were laughing or joking around while taking it.
When I got to the window, I asked for a drink carrier and stoppers for my drinks. The barista, with a noticeable attitude, told me I only had one drink. I explained that I had ordered two coffees. Instead of simply fixing the issue, another employee came over and told me that next time I need to order both drinks at the speaker. I responded that I did order both drinks — several times. Rather than acknowledging the mistake or apologizing, she told me again to repeat my order next time, using a rude and condescending tone.
