I read the reviews before I came. Some good some bad. So I decided to try it out.

The look: ....Authentic. As in, a little rundown and could use a little added paint. It captures the bizarre nature of now york through bizarre choice of artwork.

The service: ....authentic. As in, a little underwhelming yet hospitable. Exactly what you want and find in NYC. Dont look into this too much the staff is great.

The food: unlike the negative reviews.... I found my pizza stacked with toppings, perfectly sauced, and the crispy thing crust is unlike anything I have found in New York. Nevertheless, it was next level. It was floppy like your find in the city but had a unique crispness that made it that much better.

Overall for a snack or meal under $10 this is a great place to start your food journey...

I came in for lunch with my daughter. New York would be so ashamed to have it's name here! All I can think after reading the other reviews....Are they related?..Do they work here ?..Are they paid for good reviews? There were small( cocktail size ) meatballs that were obviously taken from a frozen bag at the supermarket, sauce that desperately needed EVERY thing other than a pince of salt in it , slopped....yes like it was splashed accidentally onto a nearly stale bun. Took a bite , SPIT it out( no one was there but us two)...took it "to go" ..then threw it out after the dog turned up it's nose.SO BAD!!

No,No, No, not ever going back!!. Also the counter guy needs to be talked to about his hygiene..rudeness..ehh..I can...

My family moved to Pleasanton in 1993 & from what I can remember this was one of the first pizza places we tried. We've been hooked ever since!!

Any type of pizza you order will be good. But, for me a classic cheese or pepperoni is my FAVORITE!! They have the perfected the combination of flavors... from the crust is which is ALWAYS my favorite, the cheesy is delicious & cheesy, the sauce is just right NEVER too much (just the way I like it) & the pepperoni isn't too spicy. Oh ya & the slices are huge.

This is what pizza is supposed to taste like!! This pizza reminds of the pizza the Ninja Turtles would eat & it would always look soo good. If you haven't tried it, you need to try it, or you'll never know what...

Nothing great about this place. The Pizza is ordinary. Too little sauce or toppings. Overly priced. Just the name is New York Pizza. I ordered two pizza. Meat combo and Margarita. The Tomato sauce was hard to find. Tomatoes were raw and poorly chopped. No presentation skills. Meat was not much variety... Except only on the ordering menu. It's operated by Afghan owner. I am not against discrimination, but to compete, I didn't notice anything above the crowd. The service was lousy. I asked for crushed pepper 🌶️ the response was we have them on the counter by the side.. you can take from there. I won't recommend. For your money, there are other better choices in Pleasanton downtown for Pizza 🍕 or to meet your appetite.

New York Pizza Pleasanton has unique toppings. I saw the "Gyro Pizza" and I knew I had to try it. There were gryo toppings sprinkled across the pizza with a mix of pizza's traditional toppings like tomato sauce and cheese. There were plenty of indoors seats when I visited on a Saturday night (-11:00 PM). There is also an outdoor table if preferred. Their online menu seems to have more options than their in-person menu, so be sure to take a look (or make your own). Overall, a good spot for takeout with some unique toppings. I'd swing by again to mix and match even more.
