Lions Way Park is a great park in downtown Pleasanton. The Friday night concerts are safe and always a perfect array of music. Bring your blankets, chairs and a picnic for a night under the stars. Right next to the most popular I e cream shop in the world,Meadowlark. There is room for kids and dogs to play while you listen to music. The line for ice cream is quite long. Zachary’s, the best Chicago style pizza, in the East Bay, is down the street a bit if you don’t want to pack your own picnic. Plenty of free parking. I just wish the bathrooms were closer to the band rather than a block away across the side street which luckily is closed on concert nights.

Just three stars for this one as it’s basically a piece of grass. But it’s a good piece of grass! They have concerts in the park here during the summer, and the public bathrooms are super useful for farmer’s market day. This park adds to downtown but if you want a playground or a good big field to throw a frisbee around there are plenty of other awesome parks in Pleasanton to choose from!

One of my daughter's birthday celebrations in the park. We had a great time with family friends enjoying the band. Ice cream @ Milk's toped off her evening. Great Entertainment.

Nice park to take your dogs; socialize or have coffee with friend(s). Not big enough for active walk, but plenty of retail stores to visit within walking distance that the total stroll is...
