Playa Cancun Mexican/Seafood Restaurant — Restaurant in Pleasanton

The food was good but the service was not the best. I went through drive thru to order was in way to San Antonio. I spent 22$ on a gordita, 2 supposed to be carnitas tacos, and shrimp enchilada plate. I stopped at a picnic area and discovered I had gotten asada tacos (good but not really fond of stew and gravy on taco and some of the meat was pretty chewy) the gordita was bland I literally added the one salt that I received in my plastic ware setup with a tiny tiny single napkin. When I opened container to taste the enchilada discovered I had gotten another wrong item a set of 3 puffy tacos ugh. I decided to go get my correct plate since I wanted to have what I spent my hard earned money on. When going inside the restaurant I explained to server what happened and she went and got the original girl who helped me. Now mind you I kindly overtipped for drive thru service and when she walked up she wanted to see what the wrong plate was which is what I did bring in and told me she repeated the order back to me but she did not she was talking about What she wanted to eat at Whataburger when she helped me. Basically called me a liar more then once and proceeded to inform me I would have to pay the difference. I told her to please give me what I ordered and for the inconvenience I would not which was only a 1$ dif, she also told me to stand at register and walked away. Some time went by she brought me correct order. Turns out they were worth all the trouble, although this time she provided no utensils knowing I was traveling. Went to pick up an order for someone else.. waited at the pay window and no one came so drove up to pick up window and still no one . I called the restaurant letting them know I’m there. The person on the phone told me to back up … I’m not playing musical windows.. I told her no and that it’s not my fault no one is paying attention to the pay window. She comes to the pick up window to give me the order and took my card and it probably made her mad knowing she had a few extra steps in her day. I’ve worked customer service for years and her attitude showed even though she did it nicely and sarcastically and was extremely rude. Now I remember why I stopped going to this Cancun. Thank god it wasn’t my food cause I can only imagine what they would have put in it. Never go there again. Also don’t understand why there isn’t a manager there on a daily basis. This place is very special. The food is very good. I've been coming here for about nine years. I'm a truck driver all over Texas and beyond. This is real, fresh Mexican food, cooked with home style ingredients. The service is great, attentive, respectful and courteous. The menu is traditional but, I can come in and ask for anything special I want. The price are very comparable to the area. They also have two TV's and they will change the for you, well they do for me. It's like home away from home, it's like they don't remember your name but they remember your face.
