Used to love this restaurant but in the last year service and quality of food has gone down hill. We ate there for Taco Tuesday with a table of four. We sat down and filled out our taco slips and they were picked up within ten minutes. We waited over an hour for 4 plates of small tacos (every persons order was messed up). About 5-6 tables came after our order was placed and all tables received complete entrees before our table. One waitress in the whole place, did not come back to our table once within that hour. I went up to counter questioning where our food was and was told a couple minutes. After another twenty minutes of waiting, asked again where our food was and for more drinks. Questioned why it took so long and was told “the cooks make the orders in order” then stated we’ve seen multiple tables arrive, place their orders and receive meals before ours. I was told “we are also doing take out orders” I asked for two sodas and two waters, she finally came back 10 minutes later with just two sodas. I am not sure what “order” they go in, but waiting over an hour for 4 plates of simple tacos with no waitress coming back to the table to ask if we needed drinks, more chips, anything else or updating with order status is quite absurd. Not to mention again all orders were messed up; tacos came out barely hot and food tasted reheated. Waitress made eye contact with our table multiple times within hour wait and never once asked if we needed anything. Will not...

Had a date night with my wife and she really likes Mexican food so we tried El Mariachi. Big mistake. They should just give you a tray and have you wait in line for your food - the service was that bad and the food quality was that of a fast food place.
Pro's: Guacamole was very good. Soda's tasted good and had free refills.
Service: Greeted quickly, seated ourselves, took order quickly. When food arrived we had no silverware or napkins. Tried to catch one of the 2 wait staff in the whole place to get napkins for the chips and Guacamole - didn't happen. The steak, chicken, peppers, and onions of my fajita order came but then had a big wait to get the actual fajita's and toppings. Had to then wait longer for a plate to make the fajitas on. Would have liked to get the order together so I could eat when it arrives.
Quality: My fajitas were overcooked. Steak shouldn't crunch when you bite into it. There was no taste - it was all bland and dry. My wife had Chimichangas - she didn't like it at all. I tried it and said it tasted like an old shoe - best description I could come up with. Everything tasted like it came out of a can or bag - the sauces, fajitas, chips...
This was by far the worst Mexican...
Read moreMy friends and I went out to dinner here last night, the day after a large snow storm that left most of Doylestown and surrounding area without power. To say they were busy would be an understatement. We were seated after about a 10 minute wait and were immediately greeted by a lovely young lady who took our drink order, she apologized profusely in advance and said it may be a wait for the food. We had already figured this since it was so crowded. The staff were so friendly and accommodating, even in this hectic atmosphere. We were checked on periodically and we didn't mind waiting It took about an hour and 15 for our food to arrive, but it was ABSOLUTELY worth the wait. All four meals came out hot and exactly as we ordered, again even though it was crazy busy. My chicken burrito was magnificent and flavorful my friends enjoyed their meals as well. When we received the check the young lady again apologized for our wait and told us that one of the meals was on the house due to the wait. We were taken aback! Not only did they have friendly staff and fantastic food, but they were so caring. We will be back to support this wonderful family owned...
